We enjoyed a very successful coffee morning today and managed to raise £254.10 for The Stroke Association.
A big thank you to all who supported the event, to those who baked, those who attended, those who donated and those who welcomed and chatted to our visitors.
As always, the final thanks go to the committee for their consistently hard work, effort and unwavering support at these events. 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

At craft group today we warmly welcomed Michelle Dyson (Horbury WI) who had kindly agreed to lead the session on teabag folding.
Michelle had pre -prepared and brought with her cut outs, tiles, equipment and card stock for us to use before demonstrating her skills and advising us of the history of teabag folding and how/where we could get further supplies if we wanted to do some at home.
We diligently folded, shaped and arranged our teabag papers as instructed before pasting them into a mandala shape and then created our own individual cards. We enjoyed tea, coffee and cakes before thanking Michelle for all of the time, effort and preparation she had put into the session.
We all agreed it had been a friendly, relaxed session, educational and a great example of the sharing of skills across different WI groups in West Yorks Federation.
