End Domestic Abuse Now

A hub supplying education and support to tackle domestic abuse and end the cycle. Our goal is to educate, inform and support those who need it; people who experience domestic abuse, people whose job it is to offer support, of those experiencing domestic abuse and people who are domestically abusive. We collate the best information and support we can to help those in need.

We are not prejudiced against individuals and we want to reduce the domestic abuse people face. We work closely with mental health services to ensure the right support and the right time is provided. Here are EDAN we believe a national public health response for Domestic abuse is needed

More funding is needed to support our campaign, but first, the hard work must be done. Building on awareness already in Place, creating education packages for groups to share best practices and generate more awarness

At EDAN we use Trauma-Informed Practice. Trauma-informed Practice is a strengths-based approach, which seeks to understand and respond to the impact of trauma on people’s lives. The approach emphasizes physical, psychological, and emotional safety for everyone and aims to empower individuals to re-establish control of their lives

We work from our 4 A’s Principles
-Advocate
-Assess
-Advice
-Action
We advocate for better domestic abuse services in Britain and the individuals we work with. We Assess situations to ensure the right information and guidance are given. We use our knowledge, skills, and experience to give the best advice to our clients. And we encourage individuals to take action and change their lives for the better.
