We’re ready to share the news of the kids party:

With a successful party last year, we are making this year’s kids party bigger and better and more accommodating for both the younger and older kids. If your family has both age groups, you are welcome to join either party.

Hope to see you there!

We are pleased to say, the installation of 40 kWh of battery capacity with 10kW inverter has been completed with special thanks to the team at Colder Volts. The batteries have been linked to the existing solar panels allowing the day time energy to be stored for use later in the evening.

With expandable configuration, we can continue to grow our capacity and even expand on solar panels, further providing energy independence.

Given the building's primary use is evenings, at peak expensive electricity times, this will allow the stored energy to power the building well into the evening, helping support our operational costs, and reduce our emissions.

We just want to also thank the North Lincolnshire Council, particularly the Community Grants team for funding this project alongside Lightrock Power who also helped contribute to this project.

We just want to take another moment to thank all those who have helped with the fishing peg project which we know will benefit the community for years to come.

We are so grateful to the following:

SSE Thermal - funding support
Singleton Birch - funding support
Lightrock Power - funding support
Private donor
Fox Industrial and Engineering Supplies - stainless steel fixings donation
A&L Machinery - post hole auger donation
Southam Services - delivery offloading support
Co-op - BBQ food donation
Tesco (Barton) - BBQ food and £20 donation

A special thank you to every single member of the community who gave up their time and to the young adults and children who also gave a helping hand.

Really does make you proud of our village and community
