❗ 50p Friday ❗

Morning 🐾 We have had a bit of a busy week, we have had more messages for help than we have had adoption enquiries but we are still full. We managed to find a rescue space for 2 mom's and their babies (9 altogether), thank you to Neil for helping out with transport on Monday! Don't know what we would of done without you! We was also made aware of a cat in need of urgent help, she's not in a good way, we have had a few lovely ladies searching for her this week but there as been no sign of her since she was spotted 😿 we will do our very best to get her the help she so desperatly needs 💔

Lexi is doing well after her spay last Thursday, she did give us a bit of a scare on Monday as she didn't want to eat and wasnt very mobile, it was so unlike her to not to want a fuss. But she just needed an extra few days on pain relief and she's now back to her normal self 😸

We have 17 kittens waiting for their forever homes, some have been waiting longer than other and they are only kittens for a short time as they grow so fast!

We have one of our semi - feral kittens that will be looking for an outdoor home soon, with shelter to keep warm in the winter and fed daily ideally a semi-rural/rural area with no busy roads. All her siblings are doing amazing with their confidence they even get picked up for a cuddle but we have tried so hard to tame this little girl and she just doesn't want to be tamed! This may be due to the way she had been handled and has made her not want to trust humans (she was not handled roughly by use, this was when she was trapped and handles a few months ago before collecting her).

We are running low on panacur if anyone could help us so we can keep our kittens up to date on their worming treatments 😸 we did not raise enough funds last week to even get one male castrated sadly 😿 So any donations would be greatly appreciated 🖤

We've had a lovely update on how Honey is doing!

Honey came to us at the beginning of summer from Donnington telford along with peaches that was only 9 months old and already had given birth to her 3 kittens before she came into our care.

Honey was heavily pregnant, she gave birth to 8 kittens but two of her kittens passed away not too long after they were born 😿 Honey was a brilliant mummy to all her babies and once she was spayed she found her forever home! 😊

From Honeys owners:

'' Honey is doing great, shes settled in really well, put on some weight and made herself at home here.
The kids love her and shes so patient and loving with them. She's made life much more interesting, bringing in mice and bits of takeaway from the neighbours bin! We wouldn't be without her now, shes fitted in with our family really well.
Thank for letting us adopt her and all the work you do looking after cats like her ''.

🐾 50p Friday 🐈‍⬛

Good morning 🐱

Lexi is doing well this morning she is eating and drinking as normal and using her litter tray which is such good news 🥰 when we got her home the anesthetic was still wearing off so she was drooling a little and preferred to stay on her comfy bed. She also managed to get her cone off twice!! Next steps cat rescue and a kind lady have offered a suit so we will give that a go as we can't risk her pulling a stitch! 🐾

We have had a few emergency intakes last night which I've managed to sort temperally foster homes for until we have some space available.

Darcy is around 16 weeks old and because we didn't have the space to take her on I was able to find her a home with a family that enquired about adopting not too long ago, so while we were going down to the vets we booked her an appointment for her first vaccination and microchip and was going to arrange for her to be spayed, but unfortunately we did not get a reply back so it left us in a situation where we had to find an emergency foster home for the night as we had no where for her to go!! But we would still like to book her in for her vaccinations but without the adoption fee we was unable to pay our vets directly!

We also have a mother and her kitten (12 weeks old) we believe they were dumped near a car wash and a kind lady was keeping them safe but have managed to get them into a temporary foster home for now until we get a few more of our rescues into loving homes 🙏

We still have a fair few cats that need to be neutered, and we are currently trying to help with 13 cats that need neutering as soon as possible so we can then find homes for them too. Unfortunately their owner can no longer keep them due to becoming homeless and other personal reasons and we are getting increasingly worried, due to the cat crisis we could really do without more kittens being born, it's just getting so much harder to find loving homes and wouldn't want them to end up in the wrong hands, or rehomed without being neutered 😔

We was also contacted about another young female, suspected to be in early stages of pregnancy and we would really like to get her booked in for a spay immediately!

We really need your help and this can only be possible if we can raise the funds! If you could donation as little as 50p we would be ever so grateful 🖤 let's all make a huge difference together and stop the cycle of these poor cats continuously having kittens and prevent further suffering 🐈‍⬛

Lexi has now been spayed! She is awake, a little bit groggy but doing well 🐾 We are going to collect her now and keep her warm and comfortable 🖤 Lexi has also had her first vaccination and microchip and will be ready to leave for her forever home once she has recovered 🐈‍⬛

She was okay during the car journey she did meow a little and pooped a few times in her carrier 🫣 so we had to stop to remove the soiled puppy pads! When we arrived the vets cleaned her up, bless her 🥰

Bailey also had her second vaccination today she was happily purring away and also had a cuddle with the receptionist 🖤
