Who ya gonna call..?
Cu-rators!

As part of our preparations to re-open, our crack team of highly trained curators and conservators have donned protective gear to deep clean the Toll House and Squatters Cottage.

They ain't afraid of no dust!

Based on the experiences of the first few weeks of booking we have made some changes to the booking system at Blists Hill.

We have increased capacity for the earlier slots in the day meaning more visitors can come earlier to Blists Hill.

At the same time we have also removed the need to book at all after 2.30 - if you want to come after this time please just come along and pay (or show your membership card) at reception.

Although we have now completed work on the IT upgrades for the site, high visitor numbers in the opening weeks have meant our carparks have often reached capacity, so we will continue using the booking system in the short term to help us manage this.

We know how much the Ironbridge Gorge museums mean to local communities and are very keen to hear from people who have an interest in them, now we have taken over their care.

This Saturday, 6 June, we’d love for the people of Broseley to join us and share their views, during a Community Drop-in event from 10am –12 noon, at Broseley Library, Bridgnorth Road, Broseley, TF12 5EQ.

Come and say hello, ask your questions and help us to shape the future of Ironbridge Gorge.
