The countdown to Christmas is on, and we can’t wait to welcome you back to Ironbridge for one of the most magical days of the year! ❤️

Watch Ironbridge light up for Christmas, followed by our spectacular fireworks display over the iconic Iron Bridge! 🎆

🚗 The Wharfage will be closed to traffic throughout the day.

🚌 Park & Ride available all day.

Fancy a fun evening out while helping to light up Ironbridge this Christmas?

Three of our lovely local venues are hosting fundraising quizzes in support of the Ironbridge Christmas Light Switch-On! ❤️

🍻 The Malthouse
📅 Thursday 22 October | 7pm
💷 £3 per person, with every penny going towards the Light Switch-On.

🍺 The Golden Ball Inn
📅 Wednesday 4 November | 7.30pm
🧠 Their regular monthly quiz will be raising funds for the Christmas lights.

📅 Wednesday 11 November | 7pm
👥 Teams of five

Our Christmas lights help make Ironbridge such a magical place during the festive season, and community fundraising makes it all possible.

We’ve been busy behind the scenes planning something really special and we can finally start sharing what’s in store for the Ironbridge Christmas Light Switch-On 2026! ❤️

📅 SATURDAY 28TH NOVEMBER
⏰ 12PM – 7PM

This year we’re spreading the festivities even further, with food, drink and craft stalls stretching all the way down to Dale End Village 🎁🍷🍴

🎤 Hosted by Paul Shuttleworth
🎡 Funfair for the children
🎅 Santa in his grotto at Kiddos kingdom 12-5pm
🎶 Music & entertainment popping up at various locations throughout the day
✨ Christmas lights switched on at 6pm
🎆 Fireworks at 6pm

And there’s plenty more still to come… 👀🎄

🚧 IMPORTANT: The Wharfage will be CLOSED TO TRAFFIC ALL DAY, so please plan ahead if this is part of your usual route.

⚠️ Parking is very limited in Ironbridge so unless you can walk to the event please use the park and ride which will be fully operational all day.

We’re hoping to make this our biggest Christmas celebration yet and fill Ironbridge with people, music, lights and plenty of festive atmosphere. ✨

This year the Christmas market is being extended down into Dale End, with the Park & Ride running to help bring visitors into Ironbridge throughout the day. 🎅🏼🎁

We’d love to hear from local businesses, makers, crafters, food stalls and anyone selling lovely festive goodies who would like to be part of what promises to be a brilliant day for Ironbridge. ❤️

We’ve have merged The Malthouse’s festive markets and we will now be part of the Ironbridge Christmas Light Switch On celebrations, which will be extending along the Wharfage.

This is an incredible opportunity for independent businesses, makers, artists and artisan food producers to trade at one of Ironbridge’s biggest Christmas events.
