People with ADHD and/or Autism can find extreme temperatures even more challenging than neurotypical people.
Having regular drinks, creating a low-stimulating environment, using cooling aids, reducing unnecessary tasks, allowing additional time for routines and prioritising regulation can really help those who are struggling in the heat wave.

☀️ Summer Holiday SEN Clinic Update ☀️

Amy now has very limited appointments available before the schools break up for the summer.

During the summer holidays, there will be no bookable appointments. However, Amy will still be in the café on selected days to offer advice and support.

We'll post on our page the day before she's in, so keep an eye out if you'd like to pop in and see her.

As always, support is still available throughout the summer via email at [email protected], and we'll do our best to respond as quickly as possible.
