🎒 School Uniform Grants Available 🎒
We are pleased to offer School Uniform Grants to help support families on a low income in the Taunton Deane area with the cost of primary and secondary school uniforms.
Referrals can be made by professionals such as:
✔️ Schools
✔️ Social workers
✔️ Support workers and other agencies
If you are working with a family who may benefit from this support, we encourage you to apply on their behalf.
Together, we can help ensure every child starts the school year feeling confident and ready to learn 💙

🌟 New Exercise Class Success! 🌟
Our Residents had lots of fun at the brand-new exercise class on site this week! 💪😊
A big thank you to Issy, the fantastic instructor, who did a brilliant job making the session enjoyable, engaging, and full of energy. Residents especially loved shaking the pom poms – it definitely added an extra bit of fun and laughter to the class! 🎉✨
We’re looking forward to more sessions like this and seeing everyone having fun whilst getting active! 💛

Laura & Natalie recently met with Age UK Somerset to present a donation raised through THT's Christmas cards. We are proud to support the important work they do in our community.

A big thank you to Taunton Heritage Trust for their generous donation of £100 to Age UK Somerset 💙

The funds were raised through their Christmas card sales, and we were delighted to welcome representatives in today to present the cheque and meet our Chief Executive, Phil Dolan.

Founded in the 17th century, Taunton Heritage Trust has a long history of supporting older people in our community through sheltered housing and grants. Their continued generosity helps us support older people across Somerset to live independently and with dignity.

We are incredibly grateful for their support - thank you!

We recently had a fantastic visit from AbilityNet, who spent time with our Residents demonstrating a range of apps, internet tools, and digital resources. 💻📱

The session was all about helping our residents feel more confident using technology—showing them how to stay connected with loved ones, explore new interests, and make the most of what the digital world has to offer.

A big thank you to AbilityNet for such an engaging and informative visit!
