☕🍰 Coffee, Cake and Great Company! 🍰☕

Our Trustees and Patron, the Mayor, recently joined Residents at their coffee mornings at Leycroft Close and Bernard Taylor Homes.

It was a lovely opportunity to enjoy a chat, catch up with Residents, and share plenty of tea, coffee and cake! Thank you to everyone who came along and helped make the mornings so welcoming and enjoyable. ☺️

Today we had a very special fluffy visitor to the office... meet Odie, our new office therapy dog! ❤️

Odie enjoyed his very first day in the office and made himself at home. We think he's already settled into his new role beautifully! 🐶

Yesterday, we were delighted to open Grays Almshouses as part of the Heritage Open Days scheme and welcome more than 150 visitors to our very special almshouses, built in 1635.

It was a super busy day, with queues stretching down the street, and we were fortunate that the rain stayed away!

Our Trustees, staff, and associates led tours of the almshouses, including the extraordinary chapel, as well as visits to the guest room and our beautiful gardens. We are incredibly grateful to all our volunteer guides, who generously gave their time and shared fascinating insights into the history of this amazing building.

A huge thank you also goes to all our lovely visitors for your patience whilst waiting to join the tours. It was a pleasure to meet so many of you and chat about our charity and the work we do throughout Taunton and the surrounding area.

Thank you for making the day such a success. We hope to welcome you again soon!📜
