Formed in 2012, The Swindon WI celebrated turning five by changing our name to the Old Town Belles. We meet on the 4th Tuesday of the month.

For more information, please send an email to [email protected] The Old Town Belles formed in 2012 as The Swindon WI. in 2017 we changed our name to better reflect who we are.

At last evenings meeting we had guest speaker Nan from the Harbour Project which is one of the local charities we are fundraising for this year and Kirsty and Nicola from AE Smith & Son who gave us a very informative talk about Women in the Funeral Industry

At tonight’s meeting we had a very informative talk from Ali Warren on the history of ice cream followed by a delicious tub of ice cream for everyone 🍦

This evening, 30 members had a walk around The Lawns with a talk about its history from our president Nancy😊

At last evenings meeting we had a very informative talk from The UK Space Agency and some members tried on the astronauts space suit 🪐🚀🛸

Each year the Old Town Belles fundraise for two local charities, this year our chosen charities are The Harbour Project & Dressability and throughout the year we put on events to raise vital funds to support these local organisations, please keep an eye out on our page for details of our local fundraising events and how to purchase tickets!

As an Old Town Belles member you can expect lots of great informative guest speakers, fun and friendly activities such as dancing and crafts and of course lots of cake!
