🚲This Bike Week 🚲 we wanted to tell you about the moment Samuel was finally able to join his family's bike rides.

Samuel, aged 13, has Angelman syndrome and epilepsy. Unable to safely take part in family bike rides, he needed a specialist trike to enjoy cycling alongside his family and friends.

Thanks to your donations, Cash for Kids were able to fund a specialist trike, allowing him to finally take part in bike rides with family and friends.

✨Could this be the most fun volunteering opportunity around?✨

This Volunteer’s Week, we want to show that doing good can also be a great night out. 🥳

Our incredible volunteers helped bring the energy at last week's Charva Tunes fundraiser, raising money for Cash for Kids by selling glow sticks, whistles and rave-worthy merch throughout the night.

Thank you for being such a huge part of the event, bringing endless enthusiasm, plenty of laughs and helping us raise vital funds for local children and young people.

✨Celebrating supporters that make a difference this Volunteers’ Week ✨

For more than 10 years, Mike Addison and the team at Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service have supported Cash for Kids by offering their skills, services and ongoing kindness.

From collecting gifts in their fire engine during the Mission Christmas appeal, to educating children on fire safety during school visits on Cash for Kids Day, their support has made a positive difference to our team and to local children and families.

We were delighted to see Mike receive an award at the Greater Manchester Fire & Rescue Service Recognition Awards for his outstanding dedication to Cash for Kids and the wider community.

Thank you to Mike and the GMFRS for their continuous support, and for always leaving us laughing!
