The Last place left is the penultimate performance in the 2026 season of THE SHAPE OF THINGS TO COME - a programme of new, original solo performances by independent actors and theatre-makers. All of this year's six shows will take place in the Volcano window on Swansea High Street.

In a near-future society where friendship is subscription-based, attention is increasingly monetised, and community is fading – you are part of a small group admitted to The Last Place Left, an underground archive preserving the final remnants of human connection…

GEORGIA GRIFFITHS is a performance poet, published author, and film and television researcher/assistant producer from the South Wales Valleys. She is the current Glastonbury Slam Champion and England Slam Champion and recently represented the UK at the World Poetry Slam Championship in Paris.

Join us this Thursday for Monday Morning at Machine Mart by the fantastic Sahana Athreya. ✨

In a piece inspired by an encounter in a gadget store in the bustling environment of Cardiff’s City Road, Sahana Athreya cuts a slice through daily urban life in the 21st-century High Street, exploring the intersection of migration, climate change and economic life through everyday interactions involving cheap consumer goods.

Sahana Athreya is a writer, actor, and theatre-maker who grew up in Bangalore and trained at RADA and the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama.

With our apologies - this weekend's performances of THE SWANSEA SCORES by Rachel Helena Walsh (9 and 10 October) are cancelled due to to illness. We hope to present the piece on an alternative date a little later in the season. We have contacted all ticket buyers and will issue refunds.

Subsequent performances in The Shape of Things to Come season are unaffected.

Roedd Clwb Sadwrn Storyopolis yn ddigon ffodus i gael gweld perfformiad Shape of Things to Come T I A G O G A M B O G I - ‘Window Cleaner of the Apocalypse’! Yna roedd Tiago yn ddigon hael i ddod nôl i wneud sesiwn Holi ac Ateb, dydd Sadwrn diwethaf iwethaf, tra bod y plant yn gwneud bwrdd syniadau ar gyfer eu sioe eu hunain… Cawsant eu hysbrydoli gymaint mae rhai o themâu’r sioe Tiago yn bwydo i fewn i ei straeon a syniadau!

Diolch yn fawr iawn T I A G O G A M B O G I allwn ni ddim aros i weld beth wnewch chi nesaf!

Mae Storyopolis yn rhedeg pob dydd Sadwrn, 10:30-12:30 am oedrannau 8-14.

Storyopolis Saturday Club were lucky enough to get a viewing of T I A G O G A M B O G I Shape of Things to Come performance - ‘Window Cleaner of the Apocalypse’! Tiago was then generous enough to come and do a Q+A last Saturday, while the kids made an ideas board for their own show… They were so inspired that some of the themes from Tiago’s show are feeding into stories and ideas!

Thanks so much T I A G O G A M B O G I we can’t wait to see what you do next!

Storyopolis runs Saturdays, 10:30-12:30 for ages 8-14.
