Funding news

We are very grateful and proud to announce two small grants that will help towards our provision at 9to90.

Firstly, a big thank you to the Alun Evans fund for £500 towards some comfortable seating and small equipment.

As part of this fund, we have also begun the process of expanding our group of volunteers and have met with the incredible team at Swansea Council for Voluntary Service (SCVS) who are guiding us through the early stages. SCVS has also provided us with amazing support over the past year regarding grant applications, and we are eternally grateful, we have learnt so much and feel more positive about our future!

And thank you to the Community Foundation Wales for £2,400 towards delivery of quieter sessions at 9to90. Our Friday sessions can be nearly 30 people in attendance and we’ve heard from some of our participants that it can be a bit off-putting. We have devised a series of bookable sessions, with smaller groups and more tutors to accommodate those that do find the busier sessions too much. The Friday sessions continue be drop in, with no need to book.

Follow us on Eventbrite to be the first to find out about the bookable sessions! We have more coming up with Pendine Education too, which you can also reserve a spot at, find all the details in our Linktree!

We are continuing to search for more much needed funds, but remain incredible grateful for all the support we have received so far 🙏
