Croeso i Aled ๐Ÿ’ช ๐Ÿ‘

We are absolutely thrilled to officially welcome Aled as the newest member of the Carmarthen Round Table family! ๐Ÿคโœจ
โ€‹
Aled has been a massive part of our team behind the scenes for the last two years having been a key player for our December Santa Sleigh- towing Santa around town come rain or shine. He was also an incredible help during our busy Soapbox Derby in May! Having seen his amazing dedication and hard work firsthand, all of our members are absolutely thrilled that he has officially taken the plunge and joined the Table.
โ€‹Aled was inducted by Huw (President of Carmarthen RT80 & Area 43 RTBI ) and Sam (Carmarthen 41 Club Chairman). It was fantastic to have such strong representation there to celebrate the moment, including our current RT80 Chairman, Lee, and Area 43 Chairman, James.
โ€‹
โ€‹Croeso, Aled! We are so proud to have you on board and canโ€™t wait for all the great things weโ€™ll achieve together for our community. ๐ŸŒŸ

BREAKING NEWS: Archaeologists have unearthed the 'Swansea Tapestry'

A second 11th century tapestry story in a week! This ancient textile masterpiece depicts the 2026 exploits of the Swansea Round Table so far this year!

While the Bayeux Tapestry focuses on battles and crowns, the newly discovered version, which accurately depicts the true highs of modern man some 800 years on, is a bit more balanced.

The scenes uncannily illustrate:
๐Ÿ›ถ Paddleboarding sessions in the sun.
๐Ÿ”ฅ BBQ nights by the fire
๐Ÿ”จ Building DIY furniture for Barnardo's in Swansea.
๐ŸŽณ Tenpin bowling
๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿ‡ช Recent trip to Gothenburg.

It turns out, building community, raising money for local causes, and generally having a laugh with a great group of blokes is a tradition that deserves its own historical record.

Want to be part of the next scene in our tapestry? Meet new friends that will have you in STITCHES

Weโ€™re a group of men aged 18-45 who reckon lifeโ€™s too short for just sitting on the sofa. If youโ€™re looking to get out, do some good, and actually have a bit of fun while you're at it, come say hello.

๐Ÿ‘‰ Drop us a message or comment below to find out what weโ€™re getting up to next. No ancient history knowledge required, just a sense of humour, a yearning to , and meeting likeminded tidy blokes

Look at this photograph properly. These are the faces Milford Haven should be thanking right now.

The men in the yellow shirts are Milford Haven Round Table, and once again they have helped the town feel like itself again.

Carnival Day is one of those days that reminds people why Milford matters. The streets fill up. Children wave, laugh, chase balloons and wait for the next float. Families bump into old friends. People stop for a chat. For a few hours, the town has colour, noise, pride and life about it.

It feels like the Milford we remember, and the Milford we want our children to grow up with.

But days like this do not happen by accident.

Behind the scenes, these volunteers give up evenings after work and hours of their own time. They deal with the paperwork, permissions, risk assessments, road arrangements, last-minute problems and all the little jobs nobody notices unless they are not done.

They do it quietly, reliably and, most of the time, without anything like the thanks they deserve.

And it is not just Carnival.

It is the Beer Festival that brings the town together over a pint. It is Santa at Christmas, making memories for another generation of children. It is those moments in the year that people look forward to, and that families talk about long after the bunting has come down.

In a town where it is easy to hear what is wrong with Milford Haven, here are people doing something about it.

They are not waiting for someone else to make things better. They are rolling up their sleeves and giving the town reasons to come out, smile and feel proud.

Volunteers like this are easy to take for granted because they make it look easy. But it is not easy.

It is time. It is effort. It is hassle. It is stress. It is quiet dedication after full working days. It is carrying the pressure so everyone else can enjoy the day.

So let this be the loud thank you they deserve.

To Milford Haven Round Table, thank you.

Thank you for the Carnival.
Thank you for the Beer Festival.
Thank you for Santa and the Christmas cheer.
Thank you for the unseen hours, the stress you absorb, and the pride you restore.

Milford Haven was smiling because you cared enough to make it happen.

Take a bow, lads...you did the town proud.
