🍰 JAM Kids BAKESALE for Open Doors! 🍰

Our amazing 5-11s kids baked and sold lots of yummy goodies after our meeting on Sunday, to raise money for persecuted Christians across the world 🩶

Thank you to everyone who donated - we raised £175!! And of course, a massive well done to the kids in JAM🙌 amazing to see the younger generation wanting to play their part and help make a difference 🌍

***BAKE SALE FUNDRAISER FOR***

THIS sunday (Tomorrow!!) after our sunday meeting at 5.15pm! YOU are invited to come and get home baked cakes for a donation to open doors! Our JAM kids were super excited to bake with families to make a difference to the persecuted church by supported Open Doors!

Also, join in us at our church meeting at 4pm - you will be very welcome!!

Hey church family!😊 Very special event this Friday!! Lots of details below:

‼️This Friday 8th May at 8pm‼️ we are gathering for a Worship and Thanksgiving Night as we celebrate 10 years of Matthew’s House.

We are encouraging everyone, if you are able, to join in a 24 hour fast beforehand, and then we will break the fast together after the worship night with pizza, chicken and salad🥒

This is going to be a significant night. We will be thanking God for the last 10 years and looking ahead to the next 10 years with faith and expectation, with exciting and encouraging announcements to share!😁

Robin will be sharing part of the early journey, how God nudged him, and how God provided more than we could have imagined. Please make every effort to be there - these are moments that shape us as a church, and it would be great to have loads of us involved🙏

What a joy to have our kids share what they learnt in Jam with our Sunday meeting!!😁 🙌

They were learning about what ‘following Jesus’ looks like💭

The kids gave some fantastic answers, but then took it a step further. They watched a video from Open Doors, a Christian charity which help persecuted Christians, and how ‘following Jesus’ can look different for them.

They then found the countries from the video on the map, and wrote down prayers for them. We remembered that our God is the God of hope and the impossible.

To show their support, our wonderful children want to do a bake sale to fundraise for Open Doors and support our global church family. This will be happening on Sunday 10th May, around our normal church meeting.

Bring your pennies and get some sweet treats to support this worthy cause!!👩‍🍳🍰💛
