Courage takes many forms.

It can be found in sharing our stories, trying something new, building friendships, supporting one another, and creating spaces where everyone feels they belong.

Next week, we're bringing people together through creativity, conversation, music and dance as we celebrate courage in all its forms.

Across Swansea, people from different backgrounds, cultures and experiences help make our city stronger, richer and more vibrant.

These events are an opportunity to connect, learn from one another and enjoy the power of community.

What a fantastic day of learning, connection, and sustainability!

As part of Great Big Green Week, we partnered with Climate Cymru and Super Bio Boost to explore innovative and sustainable food-growing methods, including how fish farming can be used to cultivate microgreens. 🌿🐟

The day also brought people together through food sharing, conversations, and community connection, while highlighting simple ways we can care for both people and the planet.

We were also delighted to welcome Miss Earth Wales 2026, who joined us in celebrating sustainability and community action. 🌍✨

Thank you to everyone who attended and helped make the day so special.

⚽ *Wednesday – Dream Team Football | 19:00 – 20:00*
Join us for our weekly football session. A great opportunity to stay active, have fun, and connect with others. All abilities are welcome!

🌿 *Thursday – CAETAN Farm Day | 10:00 – 14:00*
Join us for a day at the farm where you'll have the opportunity to connect with nature, learn about sustainable growing, and spend time with others in a relaxed outdoor setting. Activities will include farm-based tasks, exploring the growing spaces, and enjoying the wellbeing benefits of being outdoors.

Yesterday, The Dream Team crossed the finish line at the .

Together, they’ve raised an incredible £2,178 for the communities we serve and exceeded our fundraising target!

A huge thank you to everyone who donated, shared, encouraged and cheered us on. This achievement belongs to all of us.

We’re not quite finished yet.

🎨 Thursday – Tea Time / Arts & Crafts Drop-in | 10:00 – 14:00
Join us for a relaxed arts and crafts session as we create banners and signs for this weekend's Swansea Half Marathon. Everyone is welcome – no artistic experience needed! ✂️🖌️

💻 Digital Support Available | Thursday
There will be no Digital Inclusion Workshop on Friday this week, but our team will be available during Thursday's drop-in to help with any digital support needs.

🤝 Friday – Volunteer Open Day | 11:00 – 13:00
As part of Volunteers' Week, come and discover the many ways you can get involved with TheCAE. Meet our team, hear from current volunteers, and learn how volunteering can help you build skills, confidence, and connections while making a positive impact in the community.

💃🕺 Friday – Salsa Beat Swansea | 18:00 – 20:00
End the week with great music, movement, and fun! Whether you're a beginner or experienced dancer, everyone is welcome to join us for an evening of salsa and community vibes 🎶✨

Heading down to the seafront this weekend? Come and enjoy the atmosphere of the Swansea Half Marathon and cheer on the runners along the beautiful beachfront route 🌊☀️

Join us for Bloom & Belong: Growing Community Through Nature, our Great Big Green Week celebration at the aquaponic farm. Expect nature-based activities, sustainability learning, community connection, and plenty of opportunities to grow together.
