This came up in Glasgow in a forum for cab drivers

⚠️ Warning to all taxi drivers – please stay safe.

Guys, please be extra careful on the roads.

Around midnight today on Carmunnock Road, Castlemilk, a group of thugs blocked the road using roadside barriers/fences and sandbags. If you get out of your taxi, they may try to attack you.

This happened to me today. I reported it to the police, but unfortunately they couldn't identify the suspects because they were wearing masks.

If you come across a blocked road, stay inside your vehicle if it's safe to do so, avoid confronting anyone, and call the police immediately if you feel threatened.

Please share this with other drivers and stay safe.

Thats the allegation on the table ladies and gentleman of the Carmarthenshire jury. This argument suggest taxi drivers cannot complain about council policies without facing their abuse of power to try and shut you up.

The day stated in the video by former general secretary is incorrect owing to the speed of the action and situation, it was actually the end of February 2025.
The council have provided no cctv to support their allegations and stated they will not be providing any. 😆
This video was sent to the council as evidence by a taxi driver. In their stage 2 response they said Mr Nelson did not provide evidence.
Complaint not upheld. All points and issues raised covered in the news !!.

The council were asked to provide the 250 emails they claimed they had from Mr Nelson which, they used to compile his complaint but when asked again recently for the bundle including this video, the council stated they would not provide as Mr Nelson was vexatious. 😆

Catherine Zita of BIT organisation is passed a letter sent former General secretary after he politely delivered 11 pages of the charge back story in February where the insurance company and Tesco did not deem the expired license valid whilst, waiting for a vehicle test provided by the council after the license had expired
