🪴🧦📚 Please join us for our winter Clothes, Plants and book swap on Thursday 26th of November @ 6pm in The Mall Room Taliesin !! 🌿 Use this as your excuse to have a winter clear out of your pre-loved items and swap for something new!
Open to all, if you have something to give or not, we would love to see you!
We’ll have sweet treats and tea raising money for Médecins Sans Frontières / Doctors Without Borders (MSF) UK if you fancy supporting in that way☕️🧁.
All leftover clothes will be donated to Swansea woman’s aid 🧦📚🪴

A beautiful sunny morning at Cae Felin ☀️🪴

The sun was out for our visit today where we did some weeding and moved lots of wood for the new polytunnel. Obviously with an obligatory tea and coffee break looking over the spectacular views in the sun!

Thank you so much to the Cae Felin team for having us and a special thank you to Arman for leading a brilliant session.

Thank you for everyone’s hard work. We hope you enjoyed the special space that Cae Felin is. See you all very soon!! 🪏🫜👩‍🌾👨‍🌾

Bountiful harvest after doing some work.
We helped with the wood chips and bringing up materials for the poly tunnels.
Plus had a look at the carbon capture forest!

We are excited to invite you to a screening of the People’s Emergency Briefing at the Taliesin Arts Centre Swansea University on 30th September from 14:00 to 16:00. Hosted by SWASH society and Climate Action Research Network.

It is an eye-opening film bringing together leading UK scientists and experts to explore the latest evidence and why it matters for:
 🌧️ Extreme weather 🍞 Food security 🏥 Health 💷 Cost of living

The film is based on the National Emergency Briefing in Westminster (featured by ITV, Channel 4 and The Times), with contributions from Chris Packham, Deborah Meaden, and voices from across the UK.

We feel this film is important for everyone to see, especially those in healthcare professions, to educate ourselves and be able to inform patients. The climate crisis affects us all, and it is vital to share information and take action as individuals and communities.
