Another great session with the line dancing ladies although Alison could do with some videoing lessons as most of her clips were of the floor 😂😂😂

It's always good to announce new groups at the centre but announcing three is even better.

Monday, 14th September 10am - 11am Dance Fitness and is being ran by Emma from Be Fierce Fitness . £5.00 per session and no need to book.

Thursday, 17th September 9.30am - 11am Downhill Stay and Play group for pre-school aged children. £1.00 per child and includes a soft drink and snack. Refreshments are available for adults to purchase.

Friday, 25th September 10am - 12pm will be the third group and is called Picture Perfect. Bring along your old black and white photographs and watch them transform into colour. This is a FREE service and digital copies can be obtained but if you want an A4 print this will be £2.50 to cover ink and paper.

Thanks to the two volunteers Hazel and Russ for agreeing to run the toddler and photo groups.

***** The centre will be closed from Monday 7th September until Friday 11th September due to decorators being in the hall*****

The AFTERSCHOOL CLUB and YOUTHY CLUB will be going ahead on Tuesday and Friday but access to the building will be the side door across the playground 🙂

What's on today at Downhill..........

10am - 12pm Man FryDay is our weekly men only group. Come along for your FREE breakfast butty and hot drink plus a chat with the guys.

12.00pm - 1.00pm Step in Line dancing with the lovely Jenny from Jeneration Dance & Fitness Only £2.00 per person and no need to book. Cowboy hats are accepted 😀

3.30pm - 5.15pm Afterschool group for kids aged 5-11years. Those just starting school this is an opportunity for them to meet new friends and get to know their fellow school starters.

5.30pm - 7.30pm Youthy club for the older kids aged 11-16years. Chill out with your mates in a safe environment

The ladies are back in the building. After a couple of weeks off, the 80’s dance fitness class took to the new routines as if they’d been doing them for weeks.
The hall is undergoing some upgrading but it didn’t stop them from enjoying themselves.
Thanks to Emma from Be Fierce Fitness for bringing the energy and her new toy 😊

2.00pm - 3.00pm Prize bingo where you can win some amazing gifts. Only £1.00 for refreshments

7.00pm - 8.00pm 80’s Dance Fitness with Emma from Be Fierce Fitness . Dance and exercise your leg warmers off to great tunes from the 80’s. No need to book and only £2.00 per person

1.00pm - 3.00pm We’ar Crafting Together. A FREE craft group with funding from Links for Life

1.30pm - 4.00pm Sunderland Stop Smoking clinic

3.30pm -5.15pm Afterschool club for kids aged 5-11years
