We have so many wonderful volunteers. Everyone has a skill and contributes in a different way.

Last night was our volunteers celebration evening. It was a lovely opportunity to get everyone together to say a massive big Thank you and to get some feedback about what we are doing well and what we need to do better.

The food was provided by sweets donated by a Martin.

Big Thank you to Action Together for providing some funding for this event.

There were some great ideas last night. As we get ready for our Golden Jubilee year as an organisation it would be wonderful to celebrate in style. If you want to be involved in the celebrations please reach out!

Volunteers!

To celebrate this week we have a volunteer bbq, everyone welcome, bring a friend! Food provided by Friday 12th June 5.30pm

This only captures a small selection of all our wonderful volunteers

We have a great community of more than 35 volunteers contributing 1000s of hours throughout the year.

Whether it’s Mel and Kristina frying up for the Big Breakfast, Noah holding the fort at the Friday night social, or Frank holding us all to account. And so many more we haven’t mentioned! We couldn’t output any of our great events without all the wonderful volunteers we have.

Shout out out to Action Together Tameside for supporting our celebration with their Volunteer fund!

It costs so much money to run a Whit Friday. If you haven’t yet and want to please feel free to enter our raffle every pound donated means we are able to continue to run this great community event. Prizes include tickets to The Vale, nails by Sara Leigh, a millstones goody bag and much much more!
