Greater Manchester Kenyan Community (GMKCORG)

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to everyone who joined our Family and Friends Summer Event on 6 June 2026. We were truly overwhelmed by the wonderful turnout and are delighted to share that feedback from attendees has been extremely positive, describing it as a fantastic gathering for all ages.

At the same time, on behalf of the entire GMKCORG organising team, we wish to offer our sincere apologies to the 4C Community. Due to the unexpected enthusiasm and enjoyment of our guests, the event ran slightly beyond our allocated time, and we fully understand the impact this may have caused. As organisers, we were overwhelmed by the warm response and did not intend to overstay our booking.

We greatly appreciate your understanding and support, and we look forward to future opportunities to host enjoyable, well-managed community events.

Thank you again to everyone who helped make the day such a memorable occasion.

On behalf of everyone involved with the Greater Manchester Community Food Bank projects, I am writing to formally extend our sincere gratitude for your generous support.

We are delighted to confirm that our recent programme of food distribution and wellbeing visits was a resounding success. Throughout the day, we were able to provide essential food supplies to local individuals and families, while also carrying out vital wellbeing checks and providing companionship and support to those who need it most. Your contribution has directly enabled us to reach more people in need, ensuring that vulnerable members of our community receive not only practical help but also the reassurance and care they deserve.

Your funding and backing are invaluable to our work. It allows us to maintain our services, expand our reach, and continue delivering both emergency relief and ongoing support across Greater Manchester. Without partners like the Community Lottery, it would not be possible for us to sustain this level of assistance, and your commitment to local causes makes a tangible, positive impact on so many lives.

Please accept our deepest thanks for your continued trust and investment in our mission. We are proud to have you as a key supporter and look forward to keeping you updated on the difference your support continues to make.

Yours faithfully,
On behalf of GMKCORG
