👣 This Friday, the team at Bespoke Financial Wellbeing are taking on an incredible 26-mile walk along the Northumberland Coast in support of Team Solan!

They're walking in honour of our amazing Warrior and their ambassador, Vik:

Vik was first diagnosed with cancer in 2018 and underwent major surgery, only to later be told that his cancer had returned. Following further operations, doctors discovered it wasn't cancer that had spread, but a rare condition called an SDHB GIST tumour, caused by a faulty gene inherited from his late father.

This condition affects just 1 in 1.5 million people, and Vik was one of the first males in the UK to be diagnosed with it. Sadly, his cancer returned in 2020 and has since progressed, leaving him with multiple tumours in his liver. Due to the rarity of the condition, there is currently no treatment and his life expectancy remains unknown.

Despite everything he faces, Vik continues to inspire us with his courage, positivity and determination.

We've been proud to support Vik and his family for several years, and we're incredibly grateful to Bespoke Financial Wellbeing for taking on this challenge to help us continue supporting local families affected by cancer.
