Following the sad passing of our dear friend Mike Burnside , his wife, Lindsey, has now passed on his funeral details.

Monday 9th February,
1.45 St Andrews Church,
Aycliffe Village,
then to Wear Valley Crematorium. Afterwards at The County,
Village Green, Aycliffe Village
Family Flowers only .

Lost one of our former members this week. Mike Burnside, great angler, great character, great person, great friend. Mike stopped coming to meetings when he decided driving in the dark wasn’t for him any more. He did a few tying demos back in the Legion days. Always wanting to discuss his passion, the Tees Barrage, and his long held hatred of its impact on salmon fishing on the Tees.
