Been a little bit quiet on here as the littlest elf at No.3 has got chicken pox so it’s been all hands on deck to keep him occupied.

Santa has LOVED reading everyone’s letters though and says there is still time for people to post if they wish to!

The postbox is still at Middlestone Moor Primary Academy and at Candy Cane Lane for those wanting to get their last wishes in.

🌬️Goodness me! Storm Bram has certainly not been kind to Candy Cane Lane tonight! The elves have been out securing everything down to make sure nothing blows away.

When you do come to post your letter to Santa, please make sure not to trip on any ropes that are holding things down. We’d hate for any accidents!

Let’s home Storm Tickle doesn’t cause as much damage to the inside tree as Bram is causing to the outside ones! 🐈

We are so excited to announce our partnership with Middlestone Moor Primary Academy!

We can’t wait to bring some Christmas cheer to the children of the school 🫶🏼

🎅✨ A SPECIAL CHRISTMAS ANNOUNCEMENT✨🎅

We are delighted to share that we have teamed up with Letters to Santa at No.3🎄💌
From tomorrow morning, a Santa Post Box will be placed inside school so children can post their letters directly to the North Pole. Letters and donations need to be in school by Monday 15th of December to guarantee a reply!
Each personalised reply from Santa is £2.50, and all donations made through our school post box will go straight back into supporting school.

📮 HOW CHILDREN WILL RECEIVE THEIR REPLY FROM SANTA:
🎁 Delivered back to school – If children include their name and class, Santa will send their reply straight to their classroom.
🎁 Delivered to home – If families would prefer a home delivery, simply include your full home address inside the letter.

📮 Posting from home instead?
Families can still send letters to Candy Cane Lane at 3 Everson Way, as usual.
Please just add a note to say your child attends Middlestone Moor, and the donation will still be passed on to school.

We’re very excited to bring a little extra Christmas magic to our children this year, and we want to say a big thank you for your support and festive spirit. 🎄✨

If you have any questions, please message the Letters to Santa page.

Let’s make this a truly magical December for our children! ❤️🎅

✏️Writing letters to Santa is a huge Christmas tradition, something which every person will remember from being a child. Looking through the Argos catalogue and circling all the gifts you’d like or cutting them out and sticking them to your letter to send.

But did you know that families all over the world celebrate in different magical, unique ways?
Here are some of our favourites from around the globe… 🌍❤️

📚 ICELAND - a personal favourite and one we have adopted at No.3
Families give each other books on Christmas Eve, then spend the whole night reading and eating chocolate! This beautiful tradition is called Jólabókaflóðið — “The Christmas Book Flood.”

☀️ AUSTRALIA
Christmas is HOT! Many families celebrate on the beach with picnics and carols. Sand, sunshine and Santa hats… quite the combination!

⛸ VENEZUELA
In the city of Caracas, the streets are closed on Christmas morning so people can roller-skate to church! Children even tie ropes to their toes and hang them out the window so skaters can tug the rope to wake them for the big event. How fun is that?

🍲 PORTUGAL
Families gather on Christmas Eve to eat the Consoada — a traditional meal of fish, potatoes, eggs and greens. Simple, comforting and full of meaning.

🎉 ETHIOPIA
Christmas is celebrated on January 7th. People wear white clothes and play a festive game called ganna with sticks and wooden balls. Traditional Christmas foods include wat, a spicy stew. Delicious!

⭐ THE PHILIPPINES
Christmas in the Philippines features the parol — a beautiful star-shaped lantern that represents the Star of Bethlehem. They’re everywhere during the season and are as important to the celebration as a Christmas tree is here!

🍫 THE NETHERLANDS
On December 5th, children put their clogs by the fireplace for Sinterklaas. If they’ve been good, Sinterklaas leaves treats or even a giant chocolate letter — usually the first letter of their name!

Isn’t it amazing how many wonderful ways there are to celebrate? ❤️🎅

Tell us below 👇 — Which tradition would YOU love to try at home or do you know of any different ones?!

As December begins and letter writing kicks off, we thought we’d answer some of your Frequently Asked Questions…

1. What exactly is “Letter to Santa at No.3”?
It is a little local community charity initiative that helps deliver Christmas magic to the local area. We offer beautifully designed, personalised letters that appear to come directly from Santa himself!
Each letter is crafted with care, featuring festive stationery, North Pole-style details, and a magical message tailored to your child and all donations go to a local charity.

2. What information do you need about my child?
To make each letter personal and magical, we ask for:
• Child’s name
• Age
• Return Address so the reply makes it’s way back to you
• A few special details (accomplishments, hobbies, Christmas wishes)
• Any message you’d like Santa to include
The more details you share, the more magical the letter becomes!

3. What is the order deadline?
Our final deadline this year is December 15th so we can make sure every letter arrives before Christmas Eve.

4. How will the letter arrive?
It arrives just like real Santa mail — and kids absolutely love it!

5. What if I want to include something special in the letter?
You can!
Whether it’s a special achievement, a reminder, or a new baby in the family — just let us know.
Santa is very good at personal touches. 🎅✨

6. Is this suitable for children of all ages?
Yes!
These letters are perfect for little ones discovering the magic of Christmas, as well as older children who love festive traditions.

7. How do we donate?
Pop your donation into the envelope and the money will be given to a charity on Christmas Eve.

8. How much should we donate?
We ask for £2.50 per letter but if you wish to donate more you are more than welcome to! It will all go to supporting a local charity this Christmas

9. Is the postbox checked often?
Yes! The postbox is emptied every night so nothing is left over night meaning no one else will see your letter or get your donation.

10. Can we sit in the sleigh?
YES! The sleigh is made from wood so will be okay for you to sit in and take pictures.

11. Can we take pictures?
Yes! Please take lots of pictures when posting your letters & tag us in them! We love seeing everyone enjoy our Christmas magic 🫶🏼

Happy letter writing everyone!

Let’s play a game… spot the cat! 👀

One of Santa’s little animal helpers, Tickle, has learnt how to climb trees!🤦🏼‍♀️ Can you find her?

If anyone has any tips and tricks on how to keep her out of it, they would be very appreciated! We would like the tree to stay up longer than a week and don’t want her on the naughty list 🫢

We have had our first letter! 🫶🏼

A lovely big letter to Santa, with beautiful envelope decoration, that couldn’t fit in the post box but looks gorgeous on the tree; waiting for the Christmas magic to take it to Santa!

A lovely start to this years’ letters to Santa. Remember you have until December 15th to post your letters for a guaranteed reply before Christmas.

Tag us in all your gorgeous pics as well and tell everyone about us! All money will go to a local charity.
