This Sunday we've got our regular Sunday Service at 11am, led by Dorothy Haughton on the theme of "Love Yourself".

Then at 6pm we have our next Wheel of the Year Earth Spirit Celebration as we gather to mark Samhain

Today (Wednesday 27th, and every Wednesday) we've got our Lunchtime Meditation sessions.

It's a short 20/25 minutes or so, opportunity to sit in gentle peace. There's a short poem or two, some quiet music and also some calm silence as we meditate, reflect or contemplate together.

If you're a busy brain in need of a break then do pop in, we'd love to have you join us.

Meanderings is a gentle, reflective weekly gathering for anyone navigating the complexities of 21st‑century life.

It’s a spiritually curious space where people of all faiths and none can explore themes around hope, resilience, connection and community. All who come with an open mind, tolerant and enquiring whilst respectful and and curious are welcome!

Each week we meander through a different theme and have conversations inspired by philosophy, science, faith traditions, fiction, poetry, TV, nature and hope to find our own personal answers as to what sustains us.

There are readings, poetry, music and tables covered in quotes to ponder. In recent weeks we've look at ideas around patience, freedom and gratitude considering what they really mean to us and what that might mean for our hopes for the future.

Conversations are gentle, friendly and pressure‑free. You’re welcome to speak, listen, or simply sit with the ideas, there's no need to contribute and your listening and presence are as valued whether you share anything verbally or not.

We sit in a small group at tables, there's step free access and a hearing loop and you are welcome to message with questions if you'd like to know more

We hope you'll pop in, we're right on the High Street in the centre of town, currently with red scaffolding around us.

Just one week until our next Wheel of the Year event when we gather in community to celebrate Samhain, in our gorgeous historic little church, right on the High Street in Shrewsbury

This is an Earth Spirit celebration for those who find a sense of the Divine - whatever that might mean to them - in nature.

There'll be readings, music, meditation and a little ritual as we celebrate our ancestors, honour the earth and prepare for the darkest months.

Join us: 6-7pm, with refreshments and chat afterwards. Free to attend (though donations always welcomed!)

If you're looking for a gentle space to explore big themes, around what it means to be human in this complicated world, then join us for Meanderings on a Tuesday.

This is a small, friendly group where we consider a theme rooted in hope, comunity and resilience for 21st century life. With readings inspired from everything from telly, podcasts, books, science, faith traditions from across the world and more, we then chat and share our thoughts on the topic (usually over a cuppa.)

If this sounds like something you'd be interested in then please join us: 5:45pm-6:30pm, High Street Shrewsbury, opposite the pen shop.

Its our Harvest Festival tomorrow and we're also looking forward to welcoming two new members officially into the church community.

If you'd like to come along and join us you'd be welcome, it's at 11am, and donations of tins or other suitable products of the food bank will be welcomed.

We've a craft fayre coming up on Saturday 14th November, with a range of work from local artisans and craftspeople alongside refreshments and cakes.
