🚨⏰Atgoffa
Ymhen ychydig dros wythnos, bydd panel o hyrwyddwyr, arweinwyr ac ymarferwyr ar draws iechyd, polisi a’r celfyddydau’n dod ynghyd i drafod sut y gall y celfyddydau a chreadigrwydd feithrin cysylltiad, hyder a datblygiad yn y blynyddoedd cynnar – gan helpu i atal anghydraddoldeb yn y dyfodol a gwella canlyniadau iechyd gydol oes.

Rydyn ni am i chi fod yn rhan o’r drafodaeth. Cofrestrwch am ddim i ymuno â’r weminar sy’n edrych ar sut y gall y celfyddydau a chreadigrwydd gefnogi Egwyddor Marmot: ‘Mae Pob Plentyn yn Haeddu’r Dechrau Gorau mewn Bywyd’.

As Men’s Health Week begins today, we’re shining a spotlight on one of the many inspiring arts, health and wellbeing programmes taking place across Wales.
🎵 Nurturing Dads, delivered by Inside Out Cymru in partnership with Flying Start Blaenau Gwent, shows how music can help men build confidence, improve wellbeing and connect with others.
Led by professional musician and music therapist Alex Lupo, the workshops welcomed dads of all abilities – from complete beginners to experienced musicians – to explore songwriting, music technology, improvisation, listening sessions and collaborative music-making.
By creating music side by side, participants were able to share experiences, develop new skills, build friendships and find a sense of belonging in a supportive, welcoming environment.
It’s a powerful reminder of how the arts can support men’s health.

Wrth i Wythnos Iechyd Dynion ddechrau heddiw, rydym yn taflu goleuni ar un o’r nifer o raglenni celfyddydau, iechyd a lles ysbrydoledig sy’n digwydd ledled Cymru.
🎵 Mae Nurturing Dads, a gyflwynir gan Inside Out Cymru mewn partneriaeth â Dechrau’n Deg Blaenau Gwent, yn dangos sut y gall cerddoriaeth helpu dynion i feithrin hyder, gwella lles a chysylltu ag eraill.
Dan arweiniad y cerddor proffesiynol a’r therapydd cerddoriaeth Alex Lupo, croesawodd y gweithdai dadau o bob gallu - o ddechreuwyr llwyr i gerddorion profiadol - i archwilio cyfansoddi caneuon, technoleg cerddoriaeth, byrfyfyrio, sesiynau gwrando a chreu cerddoriaeth ar y cyd.
Drwy greu cerddoriaeth ochr yn ochr, roedd y cyfranogwyr yn gallu rhannu profiadau, datblygu sgiliau newydd, meithrin cyfeillgarwch a dod o hyd i ymdeimlad o berthyn mewn amgylchedd cefnogol a chroesawgar.
Mae’n atgof pwerus o sut y gall y celfyddydau gefnogi iechyd dynion.

📚 NEW READ: Poetry project 'Chronic Women'

Chronic Women is a poetry project aimed at improving understanding of women’s health conditions and addressing inequalities in healthcare and outcomes for women in Wales.

Hanan Issa, the current National Poet of Wales, worked with Gwyneth Lewis and 12 additional women writers with lived experience of chronic health conditions and disability, to create a bilingual poetry anthology published in February 2026 by Honno.

The poets led 10 workshops with women and NHS staff in Spring 2026, using the anthology to explore the role poetry can have in supporting women living with chronic health conditions.

The project was delivered in partnership with the Women’s Health Network (NHS Wales Performance and Improvement) plus Aneurin Bevan University Health Board, Hywel Dda Health Board and Swansea Bay University Health Board.
