Two fantastic new developments at Clive Village Hall. 😄

😄To improve the acoustics in the main hall we have had Sound Reduction Ltd fit 18 sound absorbing panels. These will greatly improve the acoustics.

😄 We have also had BW Blinds fit an electric blind to the high window.

😄 improvements were made possible by monies raised at our Coffee Shops; through CVH 100 Club; and by a generous donation of £600 from the ‘Our Coop Doing Good Together Fund’.

The History of Shrewsbury School
- a talk by Naomi Nicholas, Archivist of Shrewsbury School

What part did Clive residents play in the original foundation of the Royal Free Grammar School and why did Shrewsbury School pupils move into Grinshill in the 1660s?

Naomi Nicholas will explore these strong local connections and reveal the fascinating history of this famous educational establishment.

All welcome! Members Free. Guests: £3.00 on the door
Free entry to this talk for anyone also attending the Clive Concert on Saturday, 16 May at Clive Church. Tickets will be on sale at the door.

CLIVE ANNUAL PARISH MEETING

You are invited to attend the Annual Parish Meeting.

The Annual Parish Meeting or Meeting of the Electors is a meeting for the local community that is organised by the Parish Council and is an opportunity for residents to get together and hear important information affecting the parish. The meeting is chaired by the Parish Council Chairman, but it is not a Council meeting, so no Council decisions can be made.

• Shropshire Council Portfolio Holder for Planning, Shropshire Cllr Dave Walker - Neighbourhood Plans

• Community Resource Shropshire, Craig Bethel - Housing Needs Survey for Clive

Please come along to find out how Neighbourhood Plans and Housing Needs Surveys could impact housing and development in Clive parish.

Annual Reports from local organisations will also be made available.
