🎃Five members received a treat this month when their prize winner’s envelope arrived. 🎃

To improve our facilities we have added an electric projection screen. Thank you to our friends at the Coop for a wonderful £500 grant to support our own fund raising for this project. Also thanks to local electrician and handyman David Barber for fitting the screen.

This lovely knitted baby bo**ie was found Thursday afternoon on the path down from the hill in Clive. It has been left on the Clive Village Hall notice board. Hopefully, it can be re-united with its partner.

A big thank you to the team of military personnel from RAF Shawbury who spent the morning at the village hall helping with important maintenance jobs. They were absolutely brilliant!

📸 Friends of Clive School are excited to announce our 2027 Clive and Grinshill Calendar Photography Competition!

Do you have a favourite photograph that captures the beauty, character or community spirit of our local area?

We’re looking for photographs to feature in our 2027 calendar, and we’d love for local photographers of all ages and abilities to get involved.

Whether it’s a stunning landscape, a beautiful sunset, local wildlife, a village view, a special event or simply a moment that makes you smile – we want to see it!

📷 How to enter

You can submit up to 4 photographs for consideration.

Simply complete our online entry Google form and upload your photographs. Full competition terms and conditions are available on the entry form.

Entries close: Friday 23rd October at 23:59.

Entry: FREE

The winning and selected photographs will be featured in the calendar, with sale proceeds going to Friends of Clive School (to support and enhance school experiences for all the childrenat the school).

So grab your camera or phone, get creative and show us what makes our local area special! ❤️
