Led by our friendly and supportive volunteer Christine, come along for a social hour with like-minded others. Shropshire Local are here this morning from 10am until 4pm.

Shropshire Council advisors will be here to support with queries on a wide range of subjects - council tax, bus passes ,housing options and with cost of living advice to name a few.

Alongside this the Carers Support team will be available and you can get your blood pressure checked by on of the Shropshire Community Blood Pressure Champions.

Tea, coffee and biscuits also available!

Shropshire Local are returning to Our Space on Tuesday, 25th August , 10am until 4pm.

Our musical finale went well yesterday at the Library 🎺🎷🎼 . Lynda Kay, conductor of Mere Brass and band member Gillian brought along lots of instruments and generously allowed us all to ‘have a go’ at the end.

Entertainment tomorrow for our Summer Reading Challenge readers!
Come at 11am to hear brass instruments being played. £1 per child, parents free. Our Summer Reading Challenge is in full swing, with 70 participants this year aged between 3-12. They are working their way through the mini challenges to gain 6 stickers for their book chart and their completion with a medal and certificate. A great pic below of one of our recent completers 🏅
