Hi everyone, we are looking for some more volunteers to help keep the get free books bookshop in the Emporium M33 running smoothly 🥰

Anyone wishing to help, should be passionate about books, have organisational skills for restocking bookcases, sort book donations as they come in and a willingness to help people decide which books they may wish to choose, take and read 🥰

Our motto is, helping people have fun by reading one book at a time. 🥰❤️🥰❤️

Thank you so much Dylan Miller - Writer for a copy of your book 🥰 Happy Bookshop day to you 🥰

A Book

There's nothing like a book:
Pages of exciting hooks.
Paperback or hardback,
Give that spine a crack!

What hides behind the cover?
Murder? Aliens? A secret lover?
Then there's non-fiction, too!
Seeing what real people do.

Find a fun thing to read:
Something that we all need.
Go on, go in, give it a try,
This poem tells you why!

A good plot sounds nice.
I won't tell you twice...
So, do you like this look?
There's nothing like a book!

Happy Books Are My Bag Bookshop Day everybody! Make sure to give your local bookshops some love today. Huge shoutouts to my two favourites: GET Free Books Sale in Emporium M33, where I took The Friends for a little trip to in the pic below! And to B For Butterfly Books, who have some fun plans for celebrating today!

So, make sure to Go All In 2026 that little bit extra today, to support your local indie bookshops and authors! Maybe even give them a little thank you below.

Today we celebrate the life of Dolly Parton.

Dolly Parton's life was a testament to her talent, resilience, and generosity. Born on January 19, 1946, in Locust Ridge, Tennessee, she grew up in a family deeply rooted in music. Parton's passion for music was evident from a young age, and she began performing at a young age. Her career took off when she moved to Nashville, where she became a protégée of Porter Wagoner and gained national recognition. Parton's music career was marked by hits like "Jolene," "Coat of Many Colors," and "9 to 5," which became anthems for many. Beyond music, Parton was a businesswoman, co-owning the Dollywood theme park and developing the Imagination Library, which distributed over 300 million free books to children worldwide. Her philanthropic efforts and cultural impact have made her a national treasure and a symbol of hope and inspiration.

In a world full of chaos we need more people like Dolly ❤️
