TRC, also known as Trafford R**e Crisis, is now called SARA. A new name and look, but the same team behind the scenes, the same services and the same trauma-informed support.

We chose a name that reflects who we are now: supporting survivors across Greater Manchester and beyond, with warmth, humanity and care at the heart of everything we do.

Please do follow us on our new page, as this one will no longer be in use:

Had a great time celebrating White Ribbon Day 2025 at ‘Arts, Health, Action!’, an event showcasing various creative health projects across Trafford.

Such a fun and impactful day hearing all the amazing work being done, centring art and creativity as a tool for improving physical and mental health. Was great to talk to so many local commissioners, VCFSE organisations and spread the word about Happy Mondays, our wonderful art group for survivors.

Had a great time at the Manchester Respect Week Fair at the University of Manchester today!

The event focused on promoting messages around safety, reporting concerns and being an active bystander - such important conversations to keep our communities safe.

As always, our trusty badge maker was a huge hit, and it was lovely seeing so many people interested in learning about what we do!

Thank you to the Advice & Response team for organising and to all the organisations who took part.

We’ve been reflecting with full hearts after our wonderful 15-year celebration back in June, and want to say a huge thank you to everyone who came and made it possible.

From the staff and volunteers who attended, to the artists who donated artwork and the facilitators who led workshops - thank you!

It was a joy to share a day of creativity and fun with you all, and celebrate the amazing community we’ve built over the years.

Here’s to continuing the work together, with care, solidarity and hope. 🌻
