The whole team at Dig It want to say a massive thanks to all who joined us on Sunday 7th of June for our Open Gardens Event as part of Sustainable Uttlesford 's Big Green Festival

The day was a huge success showcasing some fabulous workshops and activities throughout the day. Huge thanks especially to our volunteer Katie Barrett and Kerry Barnes from Saffron Walden Beekeepers Association (https://www.swbka.org/) for demonstrating the live bee hive. Everyone was blown away learning more about bees, pollination and their impact on our green spaces.

Massive thanks to our volunteer Rits and Session Manager Lisa for their help & hard work all day, alongside our team of trustees Helen, Anna and Sean! Finally, thanks to the whole community for attending, connecting with us and showing your support for our beautiful site. We raised a fantastic £130 through our plant sale, refreshments and donations.

Also well done to Ethan - for leading our children Diorama Activity for all the kids on the day 💚

A wonderful day all round!
