Looking for a friendly space where your little ones can play while you relax with a cuppa? 💭

The Parent Café is a free playgroup for children aged 0-5. We provide a safe, welcoming environment filled with toys and activities for little ones to enjoy, while parents and guardians can chat, connect, and take a breather. ☕🌈

What’s included:
✨ A variety of toys and play opportunities for babies, toddlers, and preschoolers
✨ Tea, coffee, juice, sandwiches, fruit, and sweet treats
✨ Plenty of space to relax and socialise

Extra fun:
🌟 A children’s entertainer visits us fortnightly with themed activities
🌟 We love organising parties for special occasions (Christmas, Easter, and sometimes just because)
🌟 Birthday parties, with cake! 🍰

The summer holidays are almost here, and we’re ready to celebrate in style! 🪩

Join us on Thursday 18th June, from 12:30pm - 2pm at Rutherglen West & Wardlawhill Parish Church for our Parent Café Summer Party. 🥳

We’re delighted to welcome back our amazing entertainer Gemma, who’ll be bringing plenty of music, games, dancing, and fun for everyone. It’s the perfect way to kick off the summer break with laughter, friendship, and lots of happy memories! ⭐️🏖️

Lunch and refreshments will be provided, so there’s no need to worry about bringing anything along. 🍕☕️

Entry is completely FREE, and there’s no need to sign up or book a place. 🎟️

So put on your favourite summer outfit, bring your biggest smiles, and get ready to dance your way into the summer holidays with us! 😎

🎉 Landemer Day 2026! 🎉
Saturday 6th June ☀️

We are so excited to be taking our church out onto the Main Street for this year’s Landemer Day celebrations! 🎊

Come along and visit our stalls, where we’ll be selling our famous home baking alongside a variety of lovely new gifts. 🧁🛍️

We’ll also be the perfect lunchtime stop, with hot dogs, rolls and sausage, tea, coffee, and soft drinks available throughout the day. ☕🌭

Also, get involved in our Beach Ball Competition to win a £50 cash prize! 🏆 Finish the prompt “On holiday I like to…” by choosing the beach ball with your favourite activity, and you’re in! 🏖️

With Rutherglen celebrating 900 years as a Royal Burgh, this year’s Landemer Day is sure to be a joyful and memorable occasion for the whole community. 🥰

So take a wander along the Main Street and pop by to see us - you’ll find us just in front of the Town Hall! ⛪️

Hello peeps it’s that time of year where we invite you to come along to our annual Buzzfest 🥳

This year it’s even bigger as we will be celebrating in our community garden along with Rutherglen 900 with their Striding the streets event which will happen in Overtoun Park.

So get your :
• picnic , picnic blanket , picnic chairs ready to enjoy with friends and family
• dancing shoes ready for our Ceilidh
• ears tuned in for our duo act Susanne and Wendy/ Kings Park Brass / DJ Stephen for the little ones /
• little ones face ready for a wee design
• eyes ready for POP a dance performance by Vince Virr and KJ Clarke-Davis
• taste buds ready for Cambuslang Apiary honey and tea / coffee cake stall.
