Learning Disability Week 2026 ๐Ÿ’™

Tomorrow marks the start of Learning Disability Week, taking place from 15โ€“21 June. This annual awareness week is an opportunity to celebrate the lives, achievements, and contributions of people with learning disabilities, while highlighting the importance of inclusion, understanding, and equal opportunities for all.

This year's theme, "Do You See Me?", is all about ensuring that people with learning disabilities are seen, heard, valued, and recognised for who they are. It encourages everyone to look beyond labels and appreciate the unique talents, experiences, and aspirations of each individual.

As a learning disability charity, this week is especially important to us. Every day, we see the incredible impact that inclusion, meaningful relationships, and community participation can have on the lives of the people we support. We believe everyone deserves the opportunity to live a fulfilling life, be part of their community, and have their voice heard.

To celebrate Learning Disability Week, we will be sharing a video each day featuring some of the amazing people we support. We hope these videos will help shine a light on their stories, achievements, personalities, and the things that matter most to them.

Join us throughout the week as we celebrate, raise awareness, and help create a more inclusive society for everyone ๐ŸŒŸ
