This afternoon we've been out delivering letters to residents local to Whitfield rec regarding the closure of Clifton road and the park on Saturday 7th November for The Rugby Fireworks Show.

Anyone within the road closure has been provided with details on how to access their property on the day. Those in surrounding streets have been informed of the plans that might affect their access to the park and diversions in place.

Hopefully lots of you will join us for our biggest ever display. Early bird tickets are on sale now at www.therugbyfireworks.co.uk. All proceeds from the event go to local good causes.

What's good about Rugby?

That's the question we're asking (and answering) at this year's Rugby Fireworks Show.

We're taking the best things that our town has to offer and shouting about them over our biggest and best fireworks display yet!

But we need your help. We need a parent/carer and child team to narrate our show. If you're selected to be our narrator's we'll need you to record some lines (so you're child needs to be old enough to follow direction), in return you'll get free tickets to the show, some flashy toys for your child, get to count down the main display on the night, as well as being a key part of our show for the evening.

To enter please Facebook message us a voice note of your child saying "What's good about Rugby" and you responding "well, there's lots of things. Let me tell you"
Entries close Sunday 4th October.

Early bird tickets are on sale on our website www.therugbyfireworks.co.uk.
