The Hope Centre (8 Newbold Road, CV21 2LJ or find our front door with what3words: ///quick.birds.saying ) is a referral-only day centre for homeless and temporarily housed people. Clients to the Hope Centre must be referred by an appropriate agency, such as Rugby Borough Council or the Citizens' Advice. At the Hope Centre, those who are rough sleeping are offered a hot meal/packed lunch, a place to relax, laundry and shower facilities and emotional and practical support from the Hope 4 support workers. For further information on Hope 4 services please call the Centre on 01788 572456. Rugby Foodbank is operated by Hope4 in conjunction with the Trussell Trust. It is housed in the building directly behind the Hope Centre, next to the Town Hall. The winter provision operates differently as a result of the covid pandemic. We now look to support those who are rough sleeping with 24/7 accommodation through a partnership approach with Rugby Borough Council, and supported by a central government grant (2021/22). We are awaiting the outcome for our plans for 2022/23. Find our front door with what3words: ///quick.birds.saying

A recent article highlights the growing challenge facing many young people as rising housing costs and financial pressures make it harder to find stability.

Behind every statistic is a person with hopes, potential and a future worth investing in.

At Hope4, we see how homelessness can happen for many reasons, but we also see how the right support can help people rebuild their lives and move forward with hope.

This Volunteers' Week, we want to say a heartfelt thank you to every volunteer who gives their time to Hope4 and Rugby Foodbank.

Whether you're welcoming clients at the Hope Centre, preparing meals, sorting food donations, packing parcels, making deliveries, supporting administration, helping with fundraising, or offering a listening ear, you are making a real difference every day.

Hope4 and Rugby Foodbank simply could not do what they do without volunteers. Together, our volunteers give more than 10,000 hours each year to support people experiencing homelessness and food poverty in Rugby. Their dedication was recognised nationally when Hope4 received The King's Award for Voluntary Service, the highest award given to volunteer groups in the UK.

Volunteering is about so much more than giving time. It is about building community, showing compassion, offering hope, and helping people take positive steps forward. As one volunteer shared, "It enables me to give something back to my community. It's like being part of a big family."

To every volunteer, past and present: thank you. Your kindness, commitment and generosity help change lives across our town.
