We are a Yorkshire charity, championing the writer in every young person (7-18) through the joyful discovery of stories. Our story centre and imagination gym can only be accessed through the secret door of our 'Apothecary to the Magical', selling wit, humour, awe and wonder to all magical beings + an occasional human! All proceeds go to our charitable work to help us to reach and engage young peop

On Thursday 18th June for Refugee Week 2026, we screened the Refugee Week Film Festival animation MIGRANTS, to Arbourthorne Community Primary School Y6 students during their trip to Grimm & Co’s Emporium of Stories!

We are screening MIGRANTS again free for anyone to come along to on today and Saturday this week 12pm, 12:45pm and 1:30pm. We hope to see you there!

Join us next week for our Curiouser and Curiouser session as we get messy and explore creepy crawlies and mini beasts through hands-play, creativity and stories! Suitable for ages 0–3 years.


The session is FREE to attend, please book 1 ticket per child attending via Eventbrite. Adults DO NOT need a ticket, but due to room capacity and activities, we kindly ask that there are no more than 2 adults per family attending.
