Tonight the Rotherham Hospital and Community Charity team are all set up at this year's The Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust Annual Proud Awards at Magna Science Adventure Centre.

We're holding a charity raffle raising money for our Dementia Appeal and we can't wait to see all of the wonderful NHS staff when they arrive.

It’s almost time to celebrate the colleagues, volunteers and teams who make a difference across our Trust.

Incredible support for our charity BBQ - thank you Meat Mart/ Sterling Meat Company at Hellaby!

With the current temperatures giving us perfect BBQ weather, we wanted to take a moment to share some appreciation from our charity.

We recently hosted a last minute BBQ to thank the volunteers and businesses who supported the major relocation of a garden from the RHS Chelsea Flower Show site to The Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust BreathingSpace site in Rotherham.

At very short notice, Meat Mart (Hellaby) stepped in without hesitation to support us.

Feedback from the event was incredible, with the food receiving huge praise.

We're also thankful that Meat Mart continue to offer NHS staff a discount, a thoughtful gesture that's really appreciated.

It's moments like this that remind us how strong community partnerships can be.

We’re proud to share Mark Rudman's incredible tribute to his dad. Since his father passed away in 2020 following liver and kidney failure, Mark has brought the community together each year for a memorial football match — raising thousands for our NHS charity.

Mark is an absolutely incredible supporter of ours who has been raising money for our charity since 2020. We are so grateful for your continued support, Mark — your dedication makes such a difference.

Looking for an unforgettable challenge this year? Look no further... Join our team taking on the iconic Yorkshire Three Peaks, overnight! 🌅🥾

Date: Saturday 26 September to Sunday 27 September 2026
Location: Horton-in-Ribblesdale
Start time: 7pm
Registration fee: £40 (non refundable)

Walk the classic 3 Peaks route overnight under a blanket of stars ⭐️ This fully guided 12‑hour trek finishes in time for a stunning sunrise. 🌅

We work with the experts at Elite Adventures to guide this incredible challenge. This includes their team of certified mountain leaders and a support vehicle which acts as a check point to assist those who are no longer able to continue with the challenge.

Rocking our new gazebo at Parkgate Shopping today.
