We rescue dogs from all sorts of situations - from local stray pounds; directly from owners who can no longer keep them; dogs whose owners have sadly passed away or are too ill to care for them; and from local vets who contact us when owners ask them to be euthanized for no "good" reason. We strive to help as many dogs as possible, wherever we are able, regardless of their background. We are a ver

y small but very hard working team, and rescue approximately 130 dogs per year. We assess each individual dog and take great pride in taking considerable care to match each individual dog to the right forever home/owner. We have a special interest in dogs needing medical treatment, which many other rescues may be unable to help due to the cost and extensive care and treatment they may need. We have a fantastic team of vets to call on, and will always do everything possible to treat and care for every dog. Giving Up Your Dog

It seems that we are living in a throwaway society 😠 this is BISCOTTI - yet another poor abandoned Bully breed 💔🍪 it transpired his owners falsely phoned the Police saying they had found a stray dog - so poor Biscotti was taken to the pound and left there crying and confused 😠💔

He is the sweetest boy - friendly with everyone he meets and just doesn’t deserve this 🥺 the staff at the pound were desperate to get him into rescue, so we said we’d help and picked him up this morning 🤍🍪

He clearly desperately needs some home comforts and lots of love, so a foster offer for him would be a huge help for him - he’s really not a boy for kennels and deserves so much more 🙏🏻🍪🤍

Any donations towards his care would be very appreciated - thank you for helping us to be there for dogs like Biscotti 🤍🍪

Another busy week comes to an end 😴 and very excited that some of our boys and girls have adoption interest 😍🤞 please keep fingers, toes and paws crossed for them 🤞🐾🐶❤️

It’s all go right now! New dogs who are now ready for adoption will be added onto the website tomorrow, so please keep an eye out for those! 💻❤️🐶

Some amazing news to put a smile on your faces after this very rainy Thursday ☔️💖🧁 …CUPCAKE had been adopted 😁💖🧁

Her story broke our hearts, and after nearly 5 months in foster care while her health issues were got on top of, she was shown what love and TLC is all about, and thrived - we really can’t thank Lucy enough for everything she did for Cupcake including taking her to many many vet appointments 💖🧁

Now Cupcake has an amazing future ahead of her filled with love and the care she deserves 💖🧁💖

So this happened on Sunday🥹🐾 We rescued the beautiful Izzy!

Many thanks to Helping Yorkshire Poundies - HYPS for letting us rehome her. They are a wonderful charity. Sadly Izzy was found on the streets in Sheffield, and heavily pregnant🥹 She gave birth to her pups the next day and was an amazing Mum to them whilst she was luckily looked after at a foster home. Her pups have since been adopted and we are so happy to now be able to give her a great life and lots of love, as she deserves🫶

She has settled in so well with her new Cavalier family🩷🐾🐶 And is such a little sweetheart, can't imagine life without her now🩷

Today was FINALLY the day that baby Cane Corso BLOSSOM had her external fixator removed … AND she’s had her cherry eyes fixed too 🥹🌸😁🩶

For those of you who missed her story - Blossom was abandoned tied to a tree with a broken leg and emaciated 💔💔 Her broken leg has healed really well, she is thriving, and we are just so so grateful to her foster mum Rhi for helping baby Blossom through everything 🌸🩶

She is soooo very nearly there now… and we’re appealing to you all for 1 final push to raise approx £600 for Blossom 🩶🌸🩶

PLEASE please donate for our special girl if you can ….. together we know we can reach the total 🙏🏻🌸🩶

… and very importantly, this means that Blossom is ready to find her forever home!! 🌸🩶🌸 She’s an amazing girl who can live with other dogs, older children and even confident cats … breed experienced homes please get in touch!! 🌸🩶

Well we’ve been busy!! 😳😳 … But are very relieved and proud that we have been able to save 7 dogs in less than a week 🙌🐶❤️ we are a tiny charity and have worked flat out to help as many dogs as we can from a very full to bursting stray kennels (2 more to come next week)… AND squeezed in Barney in too!!

We have picked up 3 today

🖤🧡🖤 LEO who’s an 11 yr old Staffy/Collie type crossbreed. Such a handsome boy. He had been waiting a long time, and has been kennel stressed, so he’s gone straight to foster to decompress.

💖🧡🤎 BRENDA BULLDOG! short, stocky 5 yr old English Bulldog who is full of sass!! She’s perfect 💖

🖤🌹🐼 BERYL is an Olde English Bulldog girl who has broken our hearts. She’s only 6, but looks so much older 🥺 Her legs are terrible and she’s struggling to even bend down to drink. We’ve raised her bowls, lined her kennel with non slip vet bed to help her get around better and are giving her very short trips out to toilet. Settling already, but this girl needs some serious TLC in a foster home with easy access for a dog with mobility issues. All costs covered by our charity ❤️

Then from last week, thankfully the Spaniels WAFFLE and TRUFFLE both have homes lined up 💛💝🤎

💕🐻💕 and BUFFY the Bulldog will be properly introduced to you all soon, but safe to say she’s adorable, only dinky, younger than we originally thought and has most definitely not had a good life at all up to now - she doesn’t even know how to walk on a lead 🥺💕

🖤🐻🤎 BARNEY is doing really well and is a big soft goofball - very much a Lab cross and likes to carry something in his mouth at all times as comfort 🥹 he’s bouncy, playful and needs to learn all about life (including walking on a lead, as that’s totally new to him too), but just the most lovely boy who has the world at his paws now. He deserves a very special home and people to ‘do life’ with 🤎🖤

It’s still not enough though 😥 we have had a day of constant pleas for help for dogs in all sorts of situations - we’ll keep on pushing on so please watch this space for upcoming appeals for help, and THANK YOU for all your support ❤️

🌈 This week, a very special boy gained his wings 🪽😔 HAWKINS had been in ‘forever foster’ with Tracey since arriving with us from a stray kennels back in 2022, and was so very very loved ❤️

2 years ago, he had a large splenic tumour removed and survived with the odds stacked against him ❤️ he did really well until quite recently when he started struggling with his breathing, and a scan showed that he had lung cancer 😞 he had some time having palliative care but his time came last week and Tracey was with her boy as he fell to sleep 🌈😔❤️

Our hearts go out to Tracey and we’d like to thank her so much for giving Hawkins such a loving home ❤️ Run free Hawkins - never ever forgotten 🌈🪽🌈

ROOM FOR 2?? 👯‍♀️ home needed for WILLOW and ROXY ❤️🤞🌸 2 weeks ago we were able to reunite these 2 gorgeous girls 😍 they were so excited to see each other again 🤩

For those of you who didn’t see their story, Willow and Roxy urgently needed somewhere safe to go as their mum is very poorly 😔 they were all desperate, no other rescues could help, and we just knew we had to try to help them as they had literally nowhere to go, and their mum needed to urgently take a hospice bed 😔

Now that the girls are reunited, the mission is now on to find them a home TOGETHER!!! 🌸❤️🌸 they’ve been through so much, and really do love each others company ❤️

We have 3 weeks until their foster placement comes to an end ‼️‼️ and they literally do NOT cope in kennels… so we urgently need to get them settled into a permanent home!!! ❤️🌸❤️

They are very friendly girls who can live with children around 8 yrs and upwards 🌸 Please note: Willow is a Staffy cross (possibly Boxer) and Roxy is a larger bull breed mix (possibly American Bulldog) - they are not small Staffys … but just as gorgeous ❤️

HOME NEEDED FOR LITTLE PIP 🧡🥐🐭 she is really struggling in a kennel environment and URGENTLY needs a home, or foster ‼️

Pip is just 2 yrs old and is yet another poor little unwanted Frenchie crossbreed who had been abandoned and ended up at risk in a stray pound 😩 we can’t imagine how scared and bewildered Pip has been - her worried little face when she arrived with us was heartbreaking 😭

She is ADORABLE and comes to life in our office space and shows her cheeky side (in a good way!!) - she LOVES chucking her toys around 😍 we hate having to put her back in her kennel, and she hates having to back too - it’s heartbreaking 😣

NOW… here’s where we know people will lose interest, but we urge you to PLEASE just give her a chance 🙏🏻 Pip is worried when she’s out and about - she doesn’t know how to react to things she sees (we highly doubt she’s been walked much before) and she finds the big wide world quite overwhelming 🧡 we know that she’ll be SO much better when she’s away from kennels, but right now, Pip needs a dog/cat free home 🧡🙏🏻

Now time to share some amazing news 🩵 We are SO excited to let you all know that 1 week ago, RUFUS found his dream home 🤩🩵🙌

We are absolutely made up for him and we know you all will be too - he’s such a special boy and we know he stole a lot of hearts along the way 🩵 He’s a gentle giant and a real ambassador for large bull breeds 🩵

Thank you so so much to his new mum Siouxsie for giving Rufus the chance he needed, and for offering him the most amazing future 🩵 … these photos say it all 😍🩵
