This year marks 20 years of working as a Job Coach, and I can honestly say I still love what I do. It is an incredibly rewarding role, and I feel privileged to have supported hundreds of Wirral residents into employment, helping them build confidence, overcome barriers, and achieve their goals.

What makes this work even more special is the wonderful team I work alongside every day. Their dedication, passion, and commitment to helping others make a real difference in our community. I’m also constantly inspired by the people we support, whose resilience, determination, and achievements remind me why this job is so worthwhile.

Thank you to everyone who has been part of this journey. Here’s to continuing to change lives, create opportunities, and support many more people into employment.

The Lighthouse Centre Wirral

The Lighthouse Centre Wirral, part of Involve Northwest, provides a safe, warm and welcoming space for women and children who are experiencing or have experienced domestic abuse.

The Centre offers confidential support, advocacy, safety planning and specialist recovery programmes, helping individuals and families rebuild their confidence and work towards a safer future.

Every person deserves to feel safe, heard and supported, without judgement. The Lighthouse Centre is there to listen, offer guidance and help people take their next steps at their own pace.
