This year marks 20 years of working as a Job Coach, and I can honestly say I still love what I do. It is an incredibly rewarding role, and I feel privileged to have supported hundreds of Wirral residents into employment, helping them build confidence, overcome barriers, and achieve their goals.

What makes this work even more special is the wonderful team I work alongside every day. Their dedication, passion, and commitment to helping others make a real difference in our community. I’m also constantly inspired by the people we support, whose resilience, determination, and achievements remind me why this job is so worthwhile.

Thank you to everyone who has been part of this journey. Here’s to continuing to change lives, create opportunities, and support many more people into employment.

🏫 Helping schools recognise and respond to domestic abuse 🏫

Our bespoke domestic abuse training helps school staff understand what domestic abuse can look like, why victims may respond in different ways, and the impact it can have on adults, families and children.

We explore how children affected by domestic abuse may present in a school setting, helping staff recognise potential signs, respond appropriately and support children’s safety and wellbeing.

With flexible twilight, half-day and full-day CPD options available, we can tailor sessions to meet your school’s needs.

A HUGE THANK YOU TO WINSTON'S DAY NURSERY!

A massive thank you to everyone at Winston's Day Nursery for their amazing Harvest Festival donation of food for our Community Hub!

All of the generous donations will be distributed to clients who need a little extra support, helping us make sure this food reaches those who need it most.

We thoroughly enjoyed attending the Harvest Festival and listening to the children singing. It was such a lovely occasion, and we’re so grateful to have been included.

Thank you to the staff, children and families for thinking of our community and helping us support local people who may be struggling.

Your kindness and generosity really do make a difference! 💜🍂

We've supported women who have told us they didn't think they could access a domestic abuse service because they hadn't been physically assaulted. They believed "domestic violence" didn't describe what they were experiencing.

But domestic abuse isn't defined by physical injuries alone. Coercive control, emotional abuse, psychological abuse, financial abuse, sexual abuse, stalking and intimidation can all have a devastating impact.

That's why we always choose the term Domestic Abuse. It's more inclusive and helps acknowledge the many forms abuse can take.

Leaving an abusive relationship is rarely easy, and everyone's journey is different. It takes courage, strength, and support.

We're incredibly grateful to the woman who shared these words with us. Seeing someone move from surviving to rebuilding their life is a privilege.
