Extremely proud of our Junior Rochdale AFC Ability Counts players!

💙🖤

⚽ Rochdale AFC Ability Counts Juniors – Matchday Report ⚽

Our Ability Counts Juniors took part in their league fixtures last night, and it was a special occasion as we were able to capture some fantastic photos of the team in action! 📸

Due to illness, our Juniors travelled with just five players for the evening. Competing in a 7-a-side format, the team had to dig deep, show resilience and work together throughout the night.

With four matches played, our Juniors came away with an outstanding three wins and one draw! 👏🏆

It was fantastic to see such brilliant teamwork, determination and some excellent individual performances from every player. The team showed real character and should be incredibly proud of their achievements.

A huge well done to all our players! We are extremely proud of you all. 💙⚽

🌟 GIVE YOUR CHILD THE OPPORTUNITY TO PLAY! 🌟

Does your child attend Year 8 to Year 11 and struggle to access mainstream grassroots football? do you have a disability or have additional needs?

Rochdale AFC Ability Counts Juniors provides an inclusive football environment where young people can develop their skills, build confidence, enjoy the game and be part of a team.

At Rochdale AFC and Rochdale AFC Community Trust football is for everyone. 💙

This weekend, we're joining clubs across the EFL in supporting the Together Against Racism campaign, standing united against racism in football, online and in our communities.

The campaign brings together all 72 EFL clubs to challenge discrimination and encourage supporters to speak up and report racism whenever they witness it.

Reporting incidents as they happen makes a real difference. Last season, 63% of live racism incidents reported directly to clubs resulted in individuals being identified and action being taken.

Through our work across Rochdale, we're committed to breaking down barriers, celebrating diversity and ensuring everyone feels welcome, valued and included at our club.

If you witness racism at the Crown Oil Arena, please report it to your nearest steward .

Together, let's give racism the red card! 🟥⚽

⚽ What a fantastic start to the season for our South Asian Development Centre, with over 40 young players already getting involved!

Launched to make football more accessible for young people from South Asian backgrounds, the centre is helping remove barriers to participation and create new pathways into the game for children in our community.

After recognising that previous sessions clashed with Madrassa timings, we've introduced additional Saturday morning sessions at the Crown Oil Arena, giving even more young people the opportunity to develop their skills in a brilliant football environment.

From Under-8s to Under-16s, players are benefiting from high-quality coaching in small groups, with the hope of developing the next generation of Rochdale AFC stars!

We're excited to see these young players grow and can't wait to see what the future holds.

📩 Sessions are invite-only. For more information, please contact [email protected].

We can't believe it's nearly been two weeks since our sleep out... we're still catching up on sleep 😴

We are so proud of the community that turned out to help us raise money for our Changing Lives programme with Petrus Community.

As Calum says, none of this is possible without the funding and it's because of people like you that we can provide such an incredible programme and support to those experiencing homelessness in our community.
