Community Fun Day – Thank You
On behalf of BACP Rochdale, we would like to express our heartfelt thanks to everyone who helped make today’s Community Fun Day a fantastic success.
Special thanks to Saly Afia and Kamrul for their hard work and dedication, and to our amazing volunteers including Abraiz, Shahhan, Sabiha, and all of our youth volunteers who gave their time and energy throughout the day.
A big thank you to Hafiz Dewan for taking care of the burgers and helping to keep everyone well fed, as well as all our stall holders who provided a wonderful variety of food, desserts, jewellery, face painting, henna, and other attractions for the community to enjoy.
We are grateful to Councillors Farooq and Waqar for their support and attendance.
Special recognition goes to Syed Mezan our Trustee, and Bangla Voice Reporter, for the excellent media coverage and for helping to promote the event across the community.
Our sincere thanks also go to Deputy Lieutenants Rebecca and Louise, and to Mayor Faisal, for taking the time to attend and support our event.
Wonderful to see hundreds of people come through during the day, enjoying the food stalls, face painting, henna, bouncy castle, and many other activities while bringing together families, friends, and neighbours from across Rochdale, we provided much need Cadent advice, registered PSR and Co Alarm other Cadent services including some small pots and slow cookers
Finally, heartfelt thanks to Jalalia Mosque for providing the electricity for the bouncy castle, helping to make the day extra special for our children and families.
Thank you to everyone who attended, supported, volunteered, sponsored, and contributed. Your community spirit made this event a great success.
We look forward to building on this success and bringing more community events and activities to Rochdale in the future. Together, we can continue to strengthen community spirit, celebrate diversity, and create opportunities for people of all ages to come together and enjoy positive experiences.
