Just a reminder that there will be runners between 19:30 and 21:00 on the roads this Friday 19 June.

Starting from The Rec through the back fields, up Brightling road, along Bishop's Lane, down George Hill, up and down Fair Lane, all along Redlands Lane down the High St back down towards Northbridge Street to the cricket pitch gate.

We have put a very short road closure in place from 7.15 - 8.30. beginning at George Hill, along the High Street and just past the cricket pitch entrance.
Once the runners have all come through the top of Bishops Croft/George Hill, we will reduce the closure down to Judges allowing traffic to flow again up Station Road at approximately 8pm.

We appreciate that there is also a road closure on Brightling road (past The Darvell Community Entrance) from 7pm so for around 40 minutes on Bishop's lane, the cars will be sharing the road with the runners.

Please drive carefully, allow some time and be mindful to the marshalls, the runners and yourselves. It's all in aid of our annual Robertsbridge Bonfire Society night and everyone involved is volunteering their time for the cause.

Feel free to come out and cheer the runners on, let's support each other to make the night safe and enjoyable for all those taking part.

Good morning you fabulous humans....Last shout out for volunteer marshalls for the Midsummer Run this Friday 19th June.
We need a few more people to make sure we have all points covered. There'll be a cold drink and something from the BBQ as a thank you.

Briefing meeting Thursday at 7pm at The Club or 6pm at the Rec before the event on Friday.

It's a one loop course so once the runners are through, you're free to leave when the sweeper gives you the nod.

You don't have to lace up your trainers to be part of this fantastic community event. Come along, soak up the atmosphere, enjoy a Bonfire Beer and a BBQ, and cheer on all those wonderfully sweaty runners as they tackle the course.

Whether you're running, supporting, or simply there for the food and refreshments, we'd love to see you.

Diversion Route
Traffic will be diverted via:

Unfortunately as of this morning we have had to make the really disappointing decision to cancel this year's dinner and dance. Circumstances beyond our control have meant that we cannot go ahead with the event on this date. We explored all options but in the end it was decided that cancelling would be the best option.
We are aiming to reschedule an event for March next 2027.
