πŸ“’ Neighbourhood Development Plan Consultation Extended

Hawkhurst Parish Council would like to inform residents that the consultation period for the Hawkhurst Neighbourhood Development Plan has been extended.

This extension provides additional time for residents, businesses and stakeholders to review the proposed Plan and share their views on the future development of our parish.

πŸ“’ Attending a Parish Council Meeting?

We want everyone to feel informed and comfortable when attending council meetings. While the information is already contained within our Standing Orders, we've created a simple guide highlighting 10 key points that attendees are most likely to need to know.

You'll soon see copies displayed:
βœ… On chairs at meetings
βœ… On our noticeboards
βœ… On our website
βœ… Across our social media channels

The guide doesn't introduce any new rules – it simply presents existing information in a clear and accessible format to help everyone better understand how meetings are conducted.

We encourage all residents to take a look and learn more about how your Parish Council meetings work.
