We can’t wait for the 7th September, when our Members will go and wave off Team One Eyed Rat, who will be embarking on an epic road trip, driving two questionable bangers the length of France, tackling the Pyrenees and nursing them all the way to the Costa Blanca hopefully ending up in Benidorm 5 days later.

This is an annual charity event with 200 cars attempting the trip - www.theratrun.com

The team will be supporting Ripon Community Link (Ripon Walled Garden) , along with 2 other charities.

Any donations would be welcomed with 100% being split across the 3 charities (Cost of cars & all expenses incurred during the trip funded between One Eyed Rat and team members)

A huge thank you to David from elho group for another incredibly generous donation to Ripon Walled Garden!
We’re delighted to have received these amazing elho pots — made from 100% recycled plastic using 100% sustainable wind energy in the Netherlands.
This is the second donation we’ve received, and our members are really looking forward to getting them priced up this afternoon!

The RWG Media Group group discovered a whole new side to Stephen, their support worker at Ripon Walled Garden, when they visited the Ritz Cinema in Thirsk and found out that he is also a projectionist.
They had the chance to go behind the scenes, see how films are brought to the big screen and learn about the cinema’s fascinating 100+ year history.
A fantastic visit, with lots of interest and enthusiasm from everyone!
