Due to unforeseen circumstances, the date and venue of our next Demo has changed to Wednesday 14th October at Harrogate Road Methodist Church Hall. Nick Grounds is still our Demonstrator. Hopefully everyone is still able to attend.

Our demonstrator last week was David Ryland, National demonstrator with a presentation entitled ‘Expressions’.
His wonderful designs were a mixture of unusual foliage from his garden in the Lake District to compliment the beautiful flowers. And his humorous stories kept us laughing all evening.

Club night last Wednesday - an evening spent at Firby Hall Gardens, Masham in aid of Dementia UK. 90% of the garden was completed in the last 10 years by the present owners, including the man made lake. We were taken around the garden by the head gardener who had joined last November from Goldsborough Hall. What a stunning place, very enjoyable visit.
