Tomorrow is Waste Not Wednesday at RCH! 🌍💚

If you've not tried it before, come down between 12-1.30pm. It's open to everyone and the main aim is to prevent food waste.

One room. So many possibilities. ✨

At Ripon Community House, our spaces are used for so many different things by local groups, organisations, and businesses across the community.

A huge thank you to everyone continuing to support Stuart’s incredible fundraising challenge for Ripon Community House 💛

On 25 July, Stuart will be taking on an amazing 29 mile run from Ripon Cathedral to York Minster in support of our community hub and the work we do here every day.

We are so grateful for the generosity shown so far. Stuart has already reached his original fundraising target, which is absolutely incredible, but donations are still open and every contribution continues to make a real difference.

💧⚙️ Water Lab Week at Ohana Play Club! ⚙️💧

Join us this Saturday, 10am–12pm at Ripon Community House for a morning of splashing, pouring, and exploring! 💙

This week we're focusing on water play, with our exciting Water Lab taking centre stage!

🌊 Water Play Lab
Explore and experiment with:
🧪 Tubes
🚰 Funnels
🎨 Water colouring
⚙️ Water wheels

Join us in our water lab this week and watch the wheels spin as the water flows! ⚙️💧

Splash, pour, and explore, it's all about water this week! 🌊✨

👉 Please bring a spare change of clothes as children are likely to get wet during play.

Plus, all your usual Play Club favourites:
🏃‍♀️ Active play and movement toys
🌈 Quiet sensory room for calm moments
🧸 Baby-friendly spaces

Children can move freely between rooms but must be supervised by a parent or carer at all times.

We can't wait to see you for a fun-filled morning of water play and discovery! 💚

Well here it is... Waste Not Wednesday at Ripon Community House.

For dessert today, Caroline and the team of volunteers have made a fabulous Chocolate Brioche Bread & Butter Pudding - all made with donations from local supermarkets and groups. There's also some scrumptious trifles on offer too!

With National Volunteers Week on the horizon, we want to say a huge thank you to all volunteers who give their time, energy, and care to support communities every single day.
