This autumn, we’re delighted to be teaming up with Skipton Step Into Action to bring you a very special community concert celebrating the incredible talent within our local area.

The evening will showcase a fantastic variety of performers from across Craven, including the Voices Of Yorkshire, Skipton Ukulele Band, talented young musicians, TNG Accordion Group (Craven Accordion Orchestra), and a special performance from the SSIA Nuturing Growth Singers. With a wonderful mix of music and performances, there will be something for everyone to enjoy.

Tickets are £15 (children £5). All proceeds will be split between Dementia Forward and Skipton Step Into Action.

We are holding a special celebration to mark the planting of our Sycamore Gap Sapling in the newly created sensory garden at Lavender Fields Care Village. The Sapling is one of just 49 that were nurtured following the tragic destruction of this iconic tree. We were honoured to be donated a sapling by the National Trust. The planting ceremony will take place on World Alzheimer's Day (September 21st). The garden will be a place of solace for families living with dementia, with the tree at it's centre as a symbol of resilience and hope for younger people living with dementia. Last week the Time Out Together groups visited Carlton Lodge / North Yorksire Youth. Our task was to remove a dead hedge and then do some problem solving problems round the lake. A great day of working and working together. Our Time Out Together groups are outward bound days out for younger people with dementia. They run weekly in Harrogate, York and Scarborough.

Pop-Up Shop & Fun Fashion Show!

Get ready for an evening of fashion, shopping and fundraising. Join us on Wednesday 14th October at Bishop Monkton Village Hall for a fun-filled fashion show featuring your favourite high street brands, with clothing available to shop at up to 70% off.

Doors open at 6.30pm, with the show starting at 7pm. Tickets are just £8, including a glass of prosecco on arrival, and there will also be a fabulous raffle with some fantastic prizes to be won.
