All RTF events are planned and delivered by a tremendous team of volunteers. We'll be taking time this week to celebrate their role in the festival's success and are proud to join thousands of charities across the UK recognising the incredible contributions of volunteers. This picture shows many of our core Festival Team who work all year round to make RTF happen. THANK YOU to all our volunteers.

We still need volunteer Stewards to join the team over our busy Big Family Weekend. If you think you could spare a few hours on Saturday 11 and/or Sunday 12 July, please contact our Volunteer Co-ordinator, [email protected]. It's lots of fun and helps us run a safe and welcoming event for everyone.

Ripon Theatre Festival Visit Ripon

The countdown is officially on for the return of the wonderful Ripon Theatre Festival which is running from 5th – 12th July.

Supported by our team here at Visit Ripon & Ripon BID, this year’s festival marks a special milestone as Ripon Theatre Festival celebrates five years of bringing creativity, laughter and unforgettable performances to our city.

Over eight days and nights, Ripon will come alive with more than 100 events taking place across streets, open spaces, cafés, shops and venues throughout the city. Visitors can enjoy everything from street entertainment and walkabout characters to open-air theatre, storytelling, puppet shows, music and pop-up performances, with activities for all ages to discover.

Many events are free or Pay What You Can, making it the perfect opportunity to experience the vibrant atmosphere of the festival and explore everything Ripon has to offer this summer.
