The last few weeks have been rather upsetting for my friends, my family and myself. I would like to thank everyone who has sent support and love.
I’ve sadly been subject to harassment, social media defamation along with online bullying and stalking.
The police were involved, and the officers were around my property, in my home and assured everyone the puppy was well!
They had no issues with anything here. And that should have been the end of it.
I have kept the puppies owner up to date with his progress as agreed, sent them various updates and photos.
I am aware there has been a page set up by a family to ‘raise awareness’ with daily posts about me, my rescue, my animals, even my children.
Let’s be clear, this has absolutely nothing to do with the puppy we agreed to help with.
It’s a personal vendetta by a family who don’t know me, have no idea how I run and have never even met me.
If you don’t like how we run…then don’t follow our page!
Saying I block people - of course I do!
Why on earth would I allow people to follow our stories and rescue when they are being abusive and foul to me and our followers?!
Reporting me to the rspca-
No problem, I always welcome inspections.
Always have, I needed various for my council license.
Not that I need to justify myself to anyone, however there comes a point when I want to explain how ridiculous this has been when all I do is try to help! I have always had my own animals, I always will.
I don’t have to help with the poorly, unwanted or abandoned ones, but I do.
I saw a lovely quote recently, ‘those who spread hate to strangers online, clearly have nothing else to do with their time- it says a lot more about them than it does you’
Wouldn’t it be great if their time and energy was used for good instead of malice?
Maybe volunteer at their local rescues? Foster some unwanted cats? Walk some shelter dogs?
I am thankful for all of the support.
I will, of course, continue to run- the way I always have. 🙌🏻
