Provision of emergency food and support to local people in crisis Non-perishable food is donated by the public. Volunteers sort food at our warehouse.

Frontline care professionals refer clients to us via a voucher e-referral system. Vouchers are exchanged for 3 days food at a Foodbank Centre. Volunteers take time to listen and signpost clients to further support. for more information - contact:

🎄 Fill a Plate. Bring Hope. 💚

Today we’re launching Redcar Area Foodbank’s Christmas fundraising appeal and we’d love your support.

For people facing hardship in our community, the festive season can bring extra worry about putting food on the table and paying essential bills.

We’re starting now because hardship doesn’t wait for Christmas. And when the decorations come down, the need for support continues.

Your donation will help us provide emergency food and keep our vital foodbank service running through Christmas and the difficult winter months beyond.

Just over 2 tonnes of donations this Harvest – thank you!

A huge thank you to the schools, churches, businesses, community groups and individuals who supported Redcar Area Foodbank this Harvest.

Every tin, packet and collection has helped replenish our warehouse so we can provide emergency food to local people and families facing hardship across Redcar & Cleveland.

Thank you, too, to our wonderful volunteers who have helped collect, sort and store your donations, ready for those who need them.

Your kindness makes a real difference. We couldn’t do this without you.

Meet Dean our new Digital Coach, Dean will be holding a drop in tomorrow Tuesday 27th at Footprints Community Cafe between 11 and 1 where you can pop in if you need any support getting online with your smartphone or tablet. Or maybe you don't have a smartphone, don't worry we have one you can use during the session.

If you can't get along tomorrow don't worry, Dean will also be attending some of our foodbank sessions to be on hand too. See the attached poster for which sessions are near you.

Meet Dean our New Digital Coach - he will be at the Footprints Community Cafe, High Street, Redcar tomorrow ready to help out with any online challenges you might have.

🛒Thank you Asda South Bank customers!

Did you know that each month we hold regular food collections within your local Asda Superstore at South Bank?

Our team of volunteers are usually in store the first Saturday of each month, chatting to customers and receiving their donations of food and other essentials, to help restock our warehouse.

Another fantastic Harvest Festival donation! 🍂

Thank you to Marske-by-the-Sea Methodist Church and Marske Community Church for the delicious home-grown fresh fruit and vegetables. Our Foodbank Manager Kath really enjoyed meeting members of the church at the recent Harvest Festival service and chatting about how Foodbank supports local people in our community .
